Ichiro's Malt and Grain Single Cask / The Peninsula Tokyo 2018

This incredible single cask blended whisky from Ichiro’s Malt was created at the famous Chichibu distillery before being bottled exclusively for The Peninsula hotel in Tokyo. It contains malt from the sought after Japanese distillery, as well as grain whiskies from an unnamed source.

Bottled at a cask strength of 58%, this is bottle number 71 of only 240 available. 

Taketsuru 25 Year Old Pure Malt

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru, originally introduced in 2012 this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 120 bottles were available throughout Europe. 

Ichiro's Malt & Grain Kiyosato Field Ballet 27th Anniversary / Hanyu & Kawasaki

Bottled for the 27th Anniversary of the Kiyosato Field Ballet.

This blend from Ichiro Akuto of the Chichibu distillery was created from a single cask of 1990 vintage Hanyu, and a single cask of 1982 vintage Kawasaki.

A blended whisky produced by the celebrated Ichiro Akuto.  This limited edition release of his World Blended Whisky contains malt and grain sourced internationally alongside his Chichibu malt.

This is a single cask bottling, drawn from bourbon barrel #5763 in February 2019.

Bottled specially for the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Tokyo.

Taketsuru 21 Year Old Pure Malt

Released by Nikka, this range of blended malts is named after Nikka's founder and a key member of the birth of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru.

Taketsuru 21 year old is highly acclaimed and has received many awards.

Eigashima 2015 Akashi Ex-Sake Cask 50cl / Ghost Series #9 

Akashi is the name given to the the single malt produced at the Eigashima distillery. The site is often also referred to as the White Oak distillery, after the blend it produces. Because demand for White Oak is so high, most Eigashima single malt is reserved for this, so Akashi is quite rare.

This is a 2015 vintage single cask, matured in ex-Sake barrel #101520.

Only 500 bottles were produced.

Ichiro's Blend for Isetan 20cl / Hanyu and Kawasaki

An exclusive blend produced by Ichiro Akuto the owner of Chichibu distillery and the man responsible for bringing Hanyu and Karuizawa casks to the market.  

This blend was produced for Isetan, Singapore and is a blend of Hanyu and Kawasaki both closed distilleries.  Aged between 12 and 35 years old, released October 2012.

Toyo Jozo Byron JBA Whisky 1967

Toya Breweries produced Jupiter Whisky before the company merged with Asahi Holdings. In this distant past some whiskies were released under the name Byron J.B.A whisky by Toyo Jozo ltd.

The whisky was blended in association with the Japan Bartenders' Association and released in January 1967 and were only for use in bars.

This is a rare opportunity to grab long forgotten Japanese whisky.
