Caves do Casalinho Ouro Velho 1970

This Portuguese red wine from the region of Alentejo east of Lisbon, is a blend of the native grapes Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Alicante Bouchet and some Syrah.  Fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the naturally rich fruit character, this wine then benefited from a brief period of post-fermentation maceration on the skins to further leech tannins as required for extended ageing.

Larios Very-Old-Sweet

This sweet fortified wine from Malaga on Spain's Costa del Sol is made in much the same style and process as Sherry.  A blend of Pedro Ximinez and Moscatel grapes, concentrated and fortified, then left to age in oak for several months.

A Fino sherry by Bodegas Carmen Flores in Montilla, east of Seville.  This bottle appears to have been produced for a private, corporate client \"HM\" - possibly Southern Spain's HM Hotel Group.  From the label design, we would suggest this to be a 1960s/70s bottling.

Hanyu and Chichibu Ghost Series #8 / Double Distilleries

A blended malt of Chichibu and Hanyu created as part of Ghost Series. This bottling was created by Ichiro Akuto for \"Spirits for small change\", A bi-annual charity event that focuses on Whisky. This bottle was launched at the event held on the 3rd of July 2016.

Limited to only 26 bottles, two were opened and enjoyed at the event. One was raffled off and three were auctioned over the evening. The remaining 20 were sold at Malt City. All the original procedes from this bottling were used for Japanese children's charities. 

This is bottle number 12 of 26 bottles.

This is a wonderful bottle, Springbank distilled in November 1965 and matured for 29 years before being bottled by J & A Mitchell in January 1995 for the US market.

When browsing the bidding history on a specific lot,  the list of recent bidders is shown as 'anonymised bidders' with the exception of any bids placed through your account - which would appear as your username.

When logged into your account your bids are shown with your username, however, other users are not able to see this and you will appear as an 'anonymised bidder'.

Customers across the world can choose to sell their rum with Whisky Auctioneer. Our Client Service team will support sellers by providing valuations for their bottles and advice on the best way to get their whisky to us for sale into our auctions.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
