An epic looking Tomintoul, distilled on 31st January 1966 and bottled on 27th August 2001 from single cask #533.

Bottle number 104 of 128 presented in a hard wooden case.

Teaninich 1957 Cadenhead's 22 Year Old

Distilled at Teaninich in May 1957 and bottled 22 years later in August 1979.

Macallan 1985 Carn Mor 29 Year Old

A Macallan distilled in March 1985 and bottled on 4th August 2014, matured exclusively in a sherry butt #1389.

Mackmyra Preludium 01 to 06 /  6 x 50cl

The First Few Drops from Mackmyra, the Preludium 01 is the original single malt release from the distillery which sparked interest in single malt whiskies produced throughout the World (not just the 'traditional' nations).

Preludium 01 contains the first casks produced at their pilot distillery which operated between 1999 and 2002 and spirit produced at their current distillery which opened in October 2002.

Miyagikio is made from four different types of malt whiskies distilled at Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery.

This is the jewel of the 1700 series, Macallan: the \"Chairman's Release,\". Bottled for the Chinese market, the back label is in the Chinese language. Released in 2001 this is a rarity and must have for Macallan enthusiasts. 

Tomatin 1976 Single Cask 38 Year Old / The Whisky Hoop Exclusive

Distilled in 1976 then matured in single Hogshead cask number 31 until the 16th July 2015 when it was bottled.

It's rare to see whisky this age these days.

Bottle exclusively for The Whisky Hoop Japanese Scotch Whisky Society

Midleton Very Rare 1994 Edition 

This famous blend of whiskies was produced by Jameson's Master Distiller, Barry Crockett. Midleton Very Rare was released in very limited quantities on an annual basis since 1984, until 2012 when it was replaced by the equally desirable and acclaimed Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy.

The whiskey is aged somewhere between 12 and 25 years and matured solely in Bourbon casks.  Each bottle carries a signature from Barry Crocket and has an individual bottle number, this particular bottle is #23583.

Macallan 12 Year Old 6 x 70cl

Now discontinued, 12 year old sherry matured Macallan.

Midleton Very Rare 2000 Edition

The Silent Still gift sets produced by Signatory Vintage are highly sought after, this is one of three in this auction.

Distilled on 12th November 1974 and bottled on 29th October 1997

Cask #4614 yielded 290 bottles, this is bottle number 249 of 290.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung.

Teeling 1988 Centenary Collection 24 Year Old

This limited release Teeling bottle to mark the Centenary of the start of World War 1, this is the inaugural release which will be followed by further releases each year until 2018.

A single cask from 1988 was chosen which yielded 250 bottles.Cask #10514.

Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2007.

Tullibardine 1964 Cadenhead's 32 Year Old 75cl / US Import

Distilled in November 1964 at Tullibardine distillery in the Highland region and the bottled by Cadenhead's in March 1997. 

This whisky was matured in a oak cask.

Talisker 1986 Secret Stills No. 1.2 Isle of Skye

As with the rest of the Secret Stills range this single malt is not named, however they do offer a clue that it was distilled at Carbost on the Isle of Skye. Will we ever solve this mystery?

This Talisker, was distilled in 1986 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail 21 years later in 2007.

Limited to 1860 bottles, pulled from casks 1361 - 1363.

Please note rust on the inside of the tube.

Miltonduff 1968 Gordon and MacPhail

Bottled by Gordon and Macphail in 2002.

Mosstowie 1976 Signatory Vintage 21 Year Old / Silent Still

Distilled on 20th October 1976 and bottled within Signatory Vintage's Silent Stills selection.

Bottled on 28th May 1998 at 21 years of age.

Cask #12886 yielded 242 bottles this is bottle number 5.

Released in 2002 this Macallan replica bottling was created to match the style of Macallan produced in 1861.

Limited to 17,000  bottles.

Mortlach 1980 Flora and Fauna Cask Strength

The world famous Mortlach 16 year old, full bodied, heavily sherried a true cult classic... had a cask strength sibling! Distilled in 1980 and bottled in 1997, these cask strength editions were limted.

Macallan 1978 Douglas Laing 25 Year Old

Independantly bottled Macallan from Douglas Laing.

Bottled within their Old Malt Cask selection, they were distilled in October 1978 and bottled in August 2005.

Only 230 bottles were produced.

Teaninich 1972 Rare Malt 23 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1972 and bottled 23 years later, as usual with the Rare Malt Selection a healthy abv of 64.95%.
