Bowmore 1964 Black Bowmore 42 Year Old 

Arguably the most famous of all Bowmore's, one of the most collectible and most memorable whiskies on the market.  The Black Bowmore is an icon of whisky collecting, whisky drinking and whisky investing!

This is the first of the more recent releases from this famous Bowmore vintage, officially released in 2007 at 42 years of age in an impressive wooden presentation case.

The Black Bowmore was followed by the slightly older, Gold and White Bowmore's.

Springbank 50 Year Old

An incredible Springbank which we believe to be from the same iconic vintage as the Campbeltown 1919. Matured for 50 years and bottled in 1969.

Springbank is one of Scotland's many distilleries to be legitimately founded on the site of an illicit still. In 1837 the distillery was bought by the Mitchell family making this the longest family owned distillery in Scotland.  Springbank was one of the few distilleries to make it through the Campbeltown crash, caused by the prohibition and the great depression.Although the distillery was closed for seven years it managed to reopen. This has widely been attributed to the distillery focusing on quality not quantity. Now one of the last three distilleries in the region.

Never chill filtering or adding artificial colour, Springbanks continued passion for traditional whisky production is still evident. Springbank malt their own barley and bottle their own final product. The entire process is completed on one location (no other distillery can testify to that). This is a fantastic whisky from a fantastic distillery. 

There are no markings for volume or strength.

Bowmore 1964 Bourbon Cask 38 Year Old

Distilled on the 11th of November 1964, this hails from the era of epic Bowmores. 

Matured in a Bourbon cask for 38 years this bottle has been presented in a lockable wooden box.

Bottle number 173 of 300 Bottles.

Balvenie 1968 Vintage Cask

The vintage cask range of whiskies from Balvenie are a fantastic insight into single casks released from this popular Speysider.

Distilled in 21st May 1966 and bottled on 26th August 1998  this is a specially selected single cask Balvenie, from cask #6434.

Glendronach 1968 25 Year Old / Air nippon Airways

There are a number of famous Glendronach's from 1968 and this is no different, This was a single cask bottled for Nippon Airways. 

The original Glendronach 25 year old from 1968 was described by Serge Valentin from Whisky Fun explains as 'A tremendous sherry monster', and scored it 90 pts.

Glenfiddich 1968 Vintage Reserve 30 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Glenfiddich exclusively bottled for the distillery.

Distilled in 1968 matured in cask # 13147.

This is bottle number 161.

Brora 30 Year Old 2002 / 1st Release

This is a bottle of the original 30 year old Brora released within Diageo's Super Premium malts, back in 2002.  

Bottle number 1,195 of 3,000.

Glenlivet 1940 Sestante 45 Year Old

 Bottled by the Italian bottler Sestante, this is an incredible 45 year old Glenlivet, distilled way back in 1940.

Glenmorangie 1963

One of the rarest Glenmorangies , this stunning vintage was distilled in 1963 and matured for 22 years.

Matured in bourbon casks before a final finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks.

Distilled in March 1972 and then bottled in October 2013 from single cask number 702 which was an Oloroso sherry butt.

Glendronach 1971 Single Cask 39 Year Old

Distilled on 25th of Febuary 1971 and bottled in June 2010, this was fully matured in cask number 489 which was a Oloroso Sherry butt.

Glen Ord 1962 Cadenhead's 20 Year Old

Distilled in December 1962 and bottled in February 1983 by Cadenhead's. 

Glen Grant 1954 Gordon and MacPhail Decanter

A spectacular vintage Glen Grant distilled on the 4th June 1954 and bottled on 26th August 1980.

Springbank 12 Year Old 100 Proof Red Thistle

A rare bottling of over proof Springbank from the 1990s.

Produced with their iconic 'S' and red Thistle on the label.

Bunnahabhain 1965 Single Cask 35 Year Old

Distilled in November 1965 and then matured in a sherry cask this was then bottled in April 2001 for that year's Feis Ile. 

Widely considered as one of the finest Bunnahabhains ever. 

One of 594 bottles. 

Brora 35 Year Old 2013 Release 

Last years release of Brora,within Diageo's Super Premium selection, was a 35 year old limited to 2,944 bottles.

This is bottle number 1365.

Brora 35 Year Old 2012 Release

Another fantastic release from Diageo as part of their ongoing annual super premium releases.

Released in 2012 this was the oldest official bottled Brora at the time, only more recently beaten by the single cask 40 year old currently available at Travel Retail for no less than £6,995 which makes these bottlings seem a bargain!

Matured in ex-bourbon casks filled in 1976 and 1977, this 35 year old Brora is bottle number 1153 of 1,566

Brora 32 Year Old 2011 Release

The 2011 release of Brora by Diageo, was the first official bottling of Brora over the age of 30.

This is bottle number 1,461 of 1,500.

Glen Grant 1956 Gordon and MacPhail

A vintage Glen Grant distilled in 1956 bottled in 2008, when it was aged over 50 years old.

Glenugie 1980 Cadenhead's 12 Year Old 75cl / US Import

Glenugie distilled in May 1980 and bottled in October 1992.

Glendronach 1968 25 Year Old

There are a number of famous Glendronach's from 1968 and this is no different. Originally bottled for the US market - a few went missing and were eventually discovered in a warehouse and sold here.

Glenglassaugh 1967 Signatory Vintage 31 Year Old / Silent Stills

Bottled by Signatory Vintage, this Glenglassaugh was distilled on 5th June 1967 and bottled from cask #2893 on the 5th June 1998.

This is bottle number 4 of 217.

Glenglassaug distillery was closed in 1986 but revived in 2008 and is currently producing.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung.

Glendronach 1970 Signatory Vintage 20 Year Old​

Distilled on 18th of February 1970 and then matured for 20 years in Sherry Oak. Bottled July 1990.

Bruichladdich 1970  35 Year Old 125th Anniversary

This 35 year old Bruichladdich was bottled to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the distillery.

Presented in a lovely wooden box including a certificate of authenticity.

Bruichladdich 1967 Signatory Vintage Millennium Edition 32 Year Old

Distilled in January 1967 and bottled November 1999. 

Matured in single sherry cask number 160, then selected and bottled for the Millennium. 

This is bottle number 2 of 215. 

Glenmorangie 1981 Sauternes Wood Finish

Another legendary Glenmorangie in this auction, limited to only 4,000 bottles.

This Glenmorangie was distilled in 1981 and spent the final two years of maturation in Chateau d'Yquem Sauternes casks.
