Glendronach 1968 25 Year Old / Air nippon Airways

There are a number of famous Glendronach's from 1968 and this is no different, This was a single cask bottled for Nippon Airways. 

The original Glendronach 25 year old from 1968 was described by Serge Valentin from Whisky Fun explains as 'A tremendous sherry monster', and scored it 90 pts.

A very rare bottling of Glenfiddich exclusively bottled for the distillery.

Distilled in 1968 matured in cask # 13147.

This is bottle number 161.

Glenlivet 1940 Sestante 45 Year Old

 Bottled by the Italian bottler Sestante, this is an incredible 45 year old Glenlivet, distilled way back in 1940.

Glenmorangie 1963

One of the rarest Glenmorangies , this stunning vintage was distilled in 1963 and matured for 22 years.

Matured in bourbon casks before a final finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks.

Distilled on 25th of Febuary 1971 and bottled in June 2010, this was fully matured in cask number 489 which was a Oloroso Sherry butt.

Distilled in December 1962 and bottled in February 1983 by Cadenhead's.

A spectacular vintage Glen Grant distilled on the 4th June 1954 and bottled on 26th August 1980.

Glenglassaugh 1967 Signatory Vintage 31 Year Old / Silent Stills

Bottled by Signatory Vintage, this Glenglassaugh was distilled on 5th June 1967 and bottled from cask #2893 on the 5th June 1998.

This is bottle number 4 of 217.

Glenglassaug distillery was closed in 1986 but revived in 2008 and is currently producing.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung.

Glendronach 1970 Signatory Vintage 20 Year Old​

Distilled on 18th of February 1970 and then matured for 20 years in Sherry Oak. Bottled July 1990.

Another legendary Glenmorangie in this auction, limited to only 4,000 bottles.

This Glenmorangie was distilled in 1981 and spent the final two years of maturation in Chateau d'Yquem Sauternes casks.

Glendronach 33 Year Old

Distilled in 1971, this was released in 2004 to great acclaim. Matured in a legendary batch of Oloroso sherry casks.

Jim Murray gave this 95 out of 100 in his Whisky Bible, then the blind and expert pannel of Judges at the San Francisco Spirits Competition gave it a Gold Medal.

Glendronach 1972 18 Year Old

The old style 18 year old's produced by Glendronach echoed that of Macallan, they carried vintages.

This 18 year old was distilled in 1972.

Distilled in May 1966 and bottled in October 1977, this is an 11 Year old Glenfarclas bottled by Cadenhead's.

Distilled in 1987 and then bottled in 2006 after being finished in wine casks from the Premier Cru Chateau Margaux.
