The 54th and final bottling in Ichiro's Card Series.

There are two Joker's released to complete the 54 bottle series, one in colour and one in Black and White.  This particular bottling is the Colour Joker, a vatting of 14 casks covering vintages from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2000.  The casks used for this final bottling include a sherry butt, puncheon, hogshead, Cognac, chibidaru, Madeira hogshead and bourbon.

Only 3,690 bottles of this highly anticipated whisky have been made available.

Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2016 75cl / US Import

Matured in Oloroso sherry casks, aged between 12 and 15 years old and even 25 years old, blended together with older single malt stock by chief blender Shinji Fukuyo.

This bottling is the follow up to the famous 2013 release which won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.

5000 bottles were produced which is less than third of the quantity of the previous release of Yamazaki Sherry Cask, of which there were approximately 16,000 bottles.

This is the forth release in their acclaimed The Game series which contains Hanyu from the final year that the distillery was producing.

Highland Park 1973 Single Cask #11167

Highland Park bottled two single casks from October 1973, this is from cask #11167. Highland Park intentionally released two sister casks, as an experiment to llustrate the changes made in cask.  The casks were filled, matured for 28 years and emptied on 22nd February 2001 at the same time.

Cask #11167 only yielded 524 bottles.

Highland Park 1973 Dragon

A legendary highland park, distilled in 1973 and bottled by Robertsons of Kirkwall.

The 1973 Dragon rarely appears at auction, these Robertson's of Kirkwall bottlings are very highly regarded.

The Dragon from which this whisky takes its name comes from the 12th century carving in Maes Howe neolithic tomb, Orkney.

Hibiki 21 Year Old Mount Fuji Limited Edition

To Commemorate Mount Fuji the highest peak in Japan getting added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 2013, Suntory released this special edition. 
The Hibiki whose bottle always has  24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar has been redecorated with a painting of a scenic view of Mount Fuji. 

Hibiki 21 year old is a very popular and stunning blend produced by Suntory.  Here is a hint of it's success (here are a few) -

Highland Park 1977 Scottish Merchant's Single Cask #4258

Distilled in 1977 then matured in cask 4258, this cask was selected by the Scottish Field Merchants. 

Each year Scottish Field Magazine assemble a panel of experts from numerous whisky retailers, they then blind taste a range of whiskies and decide on a winner for bottling. 

In 2003 this Highland Park was selected. 

One of only 480 bottles.

The original Ambassador's Cask from Highland Park is incredibly hard to find, rarely appearing at auction.  

Distilled on the 26th January 1984, cask #43 was selected by Gerry Tosh, Highland Park's Global Ambassador before being bottled in 2005.  

Only 260 bottles were released of this 21 year old cask strength vintage Highland Park.

Released within the Rare Malt Selection. Distilled in 1971 and bottled as a 25 year old at 62%. This is from the Glenesk distillery which was also known as Hillside, located in the north east Highlands the distillery closed in 1985 and then officially dismantled in 1997. Bottle number 2556.

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
