Clynelish 12 Year Old Circa 1980s

Clynelish has grown enormously in popularity in recent years.  This well preserved example from circa 1980 carries a Germany import label by Flaschen Import, Dusseldorf.

Clynelish 1972 Rare Malt 23 Year Old 75cl

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

A 75cl bottling of Clynelish, released within the Rare Malt Selection.  Distilled in 1972 and bottled as a 23 year old at 57.1%.

Convalmore 1977 28 Year Old

An official release from Diageo back in 2005.  There are so few Convlmore's around these days which makes these bottlings quite desirable.

Distilled in 1977 and bottled in 2005, limited to only 3,900 bottles.

Johnnie Walker 21 Year Old

This very rare expression of Johnnie Walker was produced solely for the Japanese market, it has since been discontinued.

Bottle number D 25609.

Caol Ila 1969 Gordon and Macphail 35 Year Old

Bottled within Gordon and Macphail's Private Collection this 35 year old Caol Ila was distilled on the 17th June 1969 and bottled from two casks #1755 and 1760 in July 2004. 

This is bottle number 177 of 374.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Cube (Porsche Design)

A special edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, produced as a collaboration between Diageo and the Porsche Design Studio. The Cube is a storage box for a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label and four whisky glasses, the top half forms an ice bucket with a pair of tongs included.

A stunning presentation case for this exquisite blend.

All outer packaging not shown in the photos are in excellent condition.

Clynelish 17 Year Old Manager's Dram 1998

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

This 17 year old Clynelish was matured in sherry casks and selected by the distillery manager.

Bottled 23rd November 1998.

Bottle number 0894.

A Whisky Broker bottling of this closed Speyside distillery, distilled on 13th May 1995 and bottled 13th February 2013.

John Begg Circa 1940's

A very old bottling of John Begg, believed to be circa 1940s.

All labels have falled off and been lost over time, the seal is well and truly intact and carries the John Begg signature.

Coleburn 1980 Douglas Laing 25 Year Old

A rare Douglas Laing Old Malt Cask bottling of Coleburn, distilled in February 1980 and bottled in September 2005 as a 25 year old.

661 bottles released from cask #2128.

Cutty Sark Tam O'Shanter 25 Year Old

A 25 year old release of Cutty Sark, released to celebrate Burns Night 2012.

It's named for one of Burns's most famous poems, the  Tam O'Shanter. The whisky comes in an impressive wooden box depicting images from the poem

Included is a fantastic book featuring the full text of the poem, some history and a selection of art inspired by the story.

This is the first limited edition selected by Cutty Sark Master Blender Kirsteen Campbell.

Caol Ila 1998 Feis Ile 2013

Release in June 2013 for the annual Feis Ile, this Caol Ila was specially selected by Billy Stitchell.

Billy said this about how the whisky matured:

“Spirit distilled in 1998 has been triple-cask matured. For 12 years it rested in a combination of Refill Butts, Hogsheads and Barrels. The vatted whisky was then allowed to mature for several months in active hogshead casks to impart a spicy/oaky note to the existing delicate Caol Ila smoke. Finally it was treated to a final gentle maturation in European oak.”

Jack Daniel's 1907

An Australian edition of Jack Daniel's introduced in 2011.

It's made to the same recipe as the regular No.7 but is matured in cooler areas of the warehouse and bottled at 37% for a lighter style.
