Glenfarclas 1953 Single Cask 58 Year Old

So few whiskies of this age are available these days, even Glenfarclas has no whisky remaining older than 1953. The whisky was distilled on 20th November 1953 and bottled on 13th February 2012, matured exclusively in a first fill sherry butt #1674.

A panel comprising of Serge Valentin, a whisky connoisseur and a key member of the internationally renowned Malt Maniacs, Ben Ellefsen, Sales Director for Master of Malt, Michał Kowalski of Wealth Solutions and George Grant himself, unanimously made the selection from the remaining 4 casks distilled in 1953 and cask #1674 was selected to be bottled.

This single cask bottling was released at 58 years old and sold exclusively through the Wealth Solutions, Poland.

Glenury Royal 1953 50 Year Old

There are very few official bottling of this rare highland malt, which closed its doors for the last time in 1985.

This spectacular sherried 1953 vintage Glenury was bottled as a 50 Year old.  

Bottle number 59 of only 498.

Bowmore Bicentenary 1779-1979 / 98.8 Proof

An extremely rare Bowmore released for their Bicentenary in 1979. This was created for the Italian market.

The whisky is rumoured to be from 1969 but this is not stated on the bottle. 

Bottled at a cask strength of 56.2%. 

Brora 1972 Douglas Laing 29 Year Old

One of Brora's legendary1972 vintages. This was distilled in 1972 and bottled in 30 years later by Douglas Laing for their Old & Rare Platinum Slection.

Glenfarclas 40 Year Old 2014 Release Four Seasons 4 x 70cl

A specially released set of Glenfarclas for the Taiwan market. Each of these 40 year olds represents a different season. 

Each comes in it's own crafted wooden box.

Bruichladdich 1964 'The Forty' 40 Year Old​ / Signed

This mythical 40 year old Bruichladdich is the oldest official release from the distillery.

Distilled on 24th October 1964 and matured in a single bourbon cask until bottling in november 2004.  There were only 550 bottles released of this exceptional Islay malt, this is bottle number 107.

A single cask Glenfiddich distilled in 1978 was matured for 34 years until bottling.

Glenfarclas 1960 Family Cask 2nd Release

Bottled as part of the second release of Glenfarclas Family Cask, perhaps the most extensive collection of vintage whiskies from a single distillery.

This 1960 vintage was bottled on the 10th October 2007 from a Sherry hogshead #1773 yielding 157 bottles.

Glenfarclas 1966 Douglas Laing Probably Speyside's Finest

\"Probably Speyside's Finest\" is \"probably\" code for Glenfarclas. 

This was distilled in November 1967 and bottled in 2013 after 46 years in a sherry butt. There is no \"probably\" about this being awesome.

The third release of 30 year old Brora released as part of the 'special release' series in 2004 by Diageo.

This is a bottle of the original 30 year old Brora released within Diageo's Super Premium malts, back in 2002.  

Bottle number 1,111  of 3,000.

Bowmore 1991 President's Selection Keizo Seji's Cask

At the time the president of Suntory, Mr Keizo Seji visited Bowmore distillery in 1991 and oversaw the filling of a single sherry cask.  After the death of Mr Seji his son visited Bowmore distillery and donated his fathers cask to the employees of Morrison Bowmore.  

The single sherry cask was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2012, this 21 year old Bowmore was only given to employees of Morrison Bowmore.

A very rare Samaroli bottling of Bowmore distilled in 1984 and matured in a Sherry Fino puncheon #61930.

Brora 1975 Rare Malt 20 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This bottle of Brora was distilled in 1975 and matured for 20 years.

A rare bottling of Bowmore 27 year old carrying the vintage 1972 released in the 1990s style packaging.

A vatting of three casks 4864, 4865 and 4866.

Balvenie Tun 1858 Batch #1

A marriage of 6 American Oak casks and 3 European Oak Sherry casks created the first limited edition Balvenie Tun 1858, for the Taiwanese market. A limited release of only 2,600 bottles this has rarely been seen at auction.

As with the Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. Nine traditional whisky casks and two sherry butts are combined and rested for several months in Tun 1858.  The vintages range from 1966 and 1975.

Daly's Tullamore 1952 Cadenhead's 38 Year Old

Today Tullamore Dew is a very popular Irish blend, however historically Tullamore was a historic site for distilling since the 1780s with a distillery being built on the site in 1829. This Daly's distillery produced a range of whiskies.

The Dew took it's name from Daniel E Williams, the hugely successful manager of the distillery who worked there over a 60 year stretch. 

The distillery operated until 1954 when it closed. This whisky was distilled in 1952 and bottled in 1991, this 38 year old was bottled by Cadenhead's at cask strength.

Glenfarclas 1963 Family Cask #179

Bottled as part of the Glenfarclas Family Cask range of vintage whiskies.

This 1963 bottled was bottled on the 14th of October 2011 from sherry cask #179 yielding 194 bottles.

Glendronach 33 Year Old

Distilled in 1971, this was released in 2004 to great acclaim. Matured in a legendary batch of Oloroso sherry casks.

Jim Murray gave this 95 out of 100 in his Whisky Bible, then the blind and expert pannel of Judges at the San Francisco Spirits Competition gave it a Gold Medal.

Glenfarclas 1976 Family Cask 1st Release

Bottled as part of the first release of Glenfarclas Family Cask, perhaps the most extensive collection of vintage whiskies from a single distillery.

This 1976 bottled was bottled on the 28th February 2007 from sherry butt #3111 yielding 595 bottles.

Glen Albyn 10 Year Old  1970s

An official bottling of long closed Glen Albyn. 

This bottle was originally exported to the Italian market.

Dalmore 25 Year Old

Released in very limited quantities in 2013 the Dalmore 25 year old is matured initially in American white oak before a second maturation in a combination of Palomino Fino sherry butts and first fill bourbon cask. That's not all, these are then married together in bourbon barrels before a final finishing period in Tawny Port pipes.

Bowmore 1988 Feis Ile 2015 26 Year Old

Distilled in September 1988 and the bottled in March 2015. 

This was matured in  single cask number #3001 which was a sherry cask.

Dailuaine 1966 Cadenhead's 31 Year Old

A 31 Year Old Dailuanie, that was distilled in 1966 and bottled at cask strength by Cadenhead's in December 1997.

Balvenie Tun 1858 Batch #4

A marriage of 12 Traditional whisky casks and 2 Sherry Butts created the forth limited edition Balvenie Tun 1858, for the Taiwanese market. 

As with the Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. Twelve traditional whisky casks and two sherry butts are combined and rested for several months in Tun 1858.

Balvenie 2005 DCS Compendium Chapter 1

This bottle forms part of the initial release of Balvenie's five-part DCS Compendium, which is a tribute to reknowned malt master David Stewart. It consists of a 2005 vintage, cask strength, 9 year old Balvenie matured in refill American Oak Hogshead.
