Dumbarton 1961 Signatory Vintage 29 Year Old

Distilled in January 1961 and bottled in February 1990.

This particular bottling is a single grain whisky from the now closed Dumbarton distillery.

Bottle number 553 of 1300. 

Duncan Taylor Rarest of the Rare 33 Year Old

A blend containing a large number of closed distilleries... 

Kinclaith, Ladyburn, Glen Mhor, Glen Albyn, Glen Craig, Carsebridge.... and they were all over 33 years old. 

One of 750 bottles.

Dalmore Mackenzie 1992

The Dalmore Mackenzie was released to commemorate the long lasting relationship between Dalmore and Clan Mackenzie.

The whisky was matured in a bourbon hogsheads for 11 years before a finishing period of 6 years in port pipes.

A limited and highly sought after bottling of which only 3,000 were made.

Dalmore Castle Leod 1995

Following the very popular Dalmore Clan Mackenzie release in 2010, similiarly this follow up was released to generate funds for the restoration of the Clan Mackenzie's ancestral home the Castle Leod.

Matured in American white oak and Spanish sherry wood, before being finished in Bordeaux casks. Castle Leod was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2011.

Aberfeldy 15 Year Old 75cl (1980s)

A rare bottling of Aberfeldy 15 year old prior to the Flora and Fauna release, bottled during the 1980s.

Dallas Dhu is a long closed Speyside distillery. 

This bottle was distilled in April 1981 and then bottled in July 2007 as a 26 year old by Duncan Taylor.

Ardbeg Renaissance 1998

The conclusion of Ardbeg's 'Peaty path to Maturity', distilled in 1998 and bottled as a celebration for Ardbeg reaching 10 years old following the rebirth of the distillery in the hands of Glenmorangie PLC.

Ardbeg Alligator Untamed Release

A fierce charring to the cask, an 'alligator char' provides the name for this whisky, aggressive heat when applied to the inside of the casks causes the cracking of the wood which re-sembles that of an Alligators skin. 

Following the acclaimed committee release, the un-tamed edition was released in 2011 and quickly sold out.

Ardbeg Still Young 1998

Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006, the second release on the ‘path to peaty maturity’.

Ardbeg Almost There 1998

Proceeding from Very Young and Still Young, Ardbeg Almost There was the final stage in the journey of young cask-strength Ardbeg 1998 before the Renaissance 10 year old was finally released.

Dalmore Daniel Boulud

An exclusive release for the US market which had Richard Paterson assisted by Michelin starred chef Daniel Boulud.

A marrage of whisky matured in Muscatel, maderia and port casks. 

Dallas Dhu 1980 Gordon and Macphail

Distilled in 1980 at the now closed Dallas Dhu distillery, this was bottled in 2000 by Gordon and Macphail.

Ardbeg Still Young 1998

Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006, the second release on the ‘path to peaty maturity’.

Auchroisk 1999 Managers' Choice

Distilled in 1999 and then bottled in March 2009, this was matured in sherry cask number 11323.

Dalmore Millennium Release 1263 Custodian 2012 / 1st Release

The first cask to be bottled for Dalmore's custodians, a concept introduced by the distillery for it's followers in 2012.

A trio of casks were filled at midnight on January 1st 2000 and gradually released on their 12th, 15th, and 18th birthday's.

This is the first 'Millennium Release', bottled in 2012 as a 12 year old. Initiallly matured in an American oak ex-bourbon cask, before being finished in a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask.

Ardbeg Serendipity 12 year old

The result of an accident when very year old Ardbeg gets mixed with 12 year old Glen Moray.

This blended malt was simply 20% Glen moray and 80% Ardbeg.

Released in 2005, there were 16,000 bottles made available.

Ardbeg Ardbog

Released as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile offering at the start of June, alongside Ardbeg distillery it was also released at Ardbeg Embassies. 

A vatting of 10 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks with a ‘heart’ matured in Manzanilla sherry casks.

Ardbeg Blasda

The tamed version of Ardbeg, well to a degree anyway, Ardbeg Blasda was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm.  Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Please note there is no box. 

Ardbeg Auriverdes 

The new and shiny Ardbeg Auriverdes, launched on 31st May 2014 on 'Ardbeg Day' which coincides with the 'Ardbeg Day' with the Islay Festival.  

The Auriverdes (Auri = Gold and Verdes = Green) is named after the Brazilian sports teams colours whilst also referring to Ardbeg's iconic green bottle and the 'golden' whisky inside.  

Aberlour A’bunadh Batch #11

Aberlour A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #11 released in 2003.

Please note there is a minor dent to the wax on the lid. 

Ardbeg Uigeadail

The legendary cask strength Ardbeg, highly acclaimed and winner of Best Whisky in the World as chosen by Jim Murray.

This was bottled back in 2004 - it even says so on the label and contains whisky from the 1970s, as some of the early Uigeadail's did - mmmm.

Ardbeg 1993 Cadenhead's 13 Year Old

A single cask release of Ardbeg from Cadenhead's. Distilled in 1993 and bottled in November 2006. 

One of 246 bottles.

Aberlour 1974 Signatory 21 Year Old

An Aberlour distilled in September 1974 then bottled in December 1995.

Ardbeg Auriverdes

Following the very popular Dalmore Clan Mackenzie release in 2010 and Dalmore Castle Leod in 2011,this is the third release in the Clan Mackenzie series.These whiskies were release to pay homage to the Clan Mackenzie and generate funds for the restoration of the Clan Mackenzie's ancestral home the Castle Leod.

Matured in American white oak before being transferred to Oloroso sherry casks , from Gonzalez Byass, distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2012.

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch #19

Aberlour A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #19 released in 2007.
