Port Ellen 1981 Feis Ile 2008

Arguably one of the rarest Port Ellen's around, this official bottling was released for the Feis Ile in 2008 and as you can imagine sold out instantly.

This 1981 vintage Port Ellen is the only single cask offering from Port Ellen, distilled on 15th April 1981 and bottled in 2008.

This single ex-refill American oak cask # 1301 yielded only 220 bottles, this is bottle number 0041.

Hanyu 1986 Ace of Diamonds Single Cask #9023

Part of the legendary card series produced by Ichiro Akuto.  

Distilled at the lost Japanese distillery of Hanyu in 1986  and bottled in 2008  from cask #9023.

This rare Hanyu was initially matured in a traditional hogshead before a second maturation in a cream sherry butt.

Hanyu 1986 King of Hearts Single Cask #9033

Hanyu is a closed Japanese distillery that received a new lease of life from Ichiro Akuto, who bottled the last of the stock in the iconic card range. 

Distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2009, after being aged in a hogshead then finished in a Pedro Ximenez sherry butt.

Hibiki 17 and 21  Year Old Mount Fuji Limited Edition

To Commemorate Mount Fuji the highest peak in Japan getting added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 2013, Suntory released this special edition. 

The Hibiki whose bottle always has  24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar has been redecorated with a painting of a scenic view of Mount Fuji. 

This lot comprises a bottle of the 17 and 21 year old within this limited edition bottle and packaging design.

Hanyu Ichiro's Malt The Joker 'Colour'

The 54th and final bottling in Ichiro's Card Series.

There are two Joker's released to complete the 54 bottle series, one in colour and one in Black and White.  This particular bottling is the Colour Joker, a vatting of 14 casks covering vintages from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2000.  The casks used for this final bottling include a sherry butt, puncheon, hogshead, Cognac, chibidaru, Madeira hogshead and bourbon.

Only 3,690 bottles of this highly anticipated whisky have been made available.

A very highly acclaimed Port Ellen from Douglas Laing.

Released within their Old Malt Cask series this received 94 points on Whiskyfun.com and 95 points from the Malt Maniacs.

Distilled in September 1982 and bottled in May 2004 from a single sherry cask which yielded 420 bottles.
