Ardbeg Renaissance 1998

The conclusion of Ardbeg's 'Peaty path to Maturity', distilled in 1998 and bottled as a celebration for Ardbeg reaching 10 years old following the rebirth of the distillery in the hands of Glenmorangie PLC.

Ardbeg Alligator Untamed Release

A fierce charring to the cask, an 'alligator char' provides the name for this whisky, aggressive heat when applied to the inside of the casks causes the cracking of the wood which re-sembles that of an Alligators skin. 

Following the acclaimed committee release, the un-tamed edition was released in 2011 and quickly sold out.

Ardbeg Still Young 1998

Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006, the second release on the ‘path to peaty maturity’.

Ardbeg Almost There 1998

Proceeding from Very Young and Still Young, Ardbeg Almost There was the final stage in the journey of young cask-strength Ardbeg 1998 before the Renaissance 10 year old was finally released.

Ardbeg Still Young 1998

Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006, the second release on the ‘path to peaty maturity’.

Auchroisk 1999 Managers' Choice

Distilled in 1999 and then bottled in March 2009, this was matured in sherry cask number 11323.

Ardbeg Serendipity 12 year old

The result of an accident when very year old Ardbeg gets mixed with 12 year old Glen Moray.

This blended malt was simply 20% Glen moray and 80% Ardbeg.

Released in 2005, there were 16,000 bottles made available.

Ardbeg Ardbog

Released as Ardbeg’s annual Feis Ile offering at the start of June, alongside Ardbeg distillery it was also released at Ardbeg Embassies. 

A vatting of 10 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks with a ‘heart’ matured in Manzanilla sherry casks. 

Ardbeg Blasda

The tamed version of Ardbeg, well to a degree anyway, Ardbeg Blasda was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm.  Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Ardbeg Auriverdes 

The new and shiny Ardbeg Auriverdes, launched on 31st May 2014 on 'Ardbeg Day' which coincides with the 'Ardbeg Day' with the Islay Festival.  

The Auriverdes (Auri = Gold and Verdes = Green) is named after the Brazilian sports teams colours whilst also referring to Ardbeg's iconic green bottle and the 'golden' whisky inside.  

Aberlour A’bunadh Batch #11

Aberlour A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #11 released in 2003.

Please note there is a minor dent to the wax on the lid. 

Ardbeg Uigeadail

The legendary cask strength Ardbeg, highly acclaimed and winner of Best Whisky in the World as chosen by Jim Murray.

This was bottled back in 2004 - it even says so on the label and contains whisky from the 1970s, as some of the early Uigeadail's did - mmmm.

Ardbeg 1993 Cadenhead's 13 Year Old

A single cask release of Ardbeg from Cadenhead's. Distilled in 1993 and bottled in November 2006. 

One of 246 bottles.

Aberlour 1974 Signatory 21 Year Old

An Aberlour distilled in September 1974 then bottled in December 1995.

Ardmore 1977 Cadenhead's 24 Year Old

Distilled in 1977 and then bottled in February 2002. A single cask Ardmore at cast srength. 

One of 636 bottles.

Arran Napoleon Cognac Single Cask

One of the older single casks finishes from Arran, this time in a Napoleon Cognac Cask from A.Hardy.

The oldest bottling available from the original 'Founder's Reserve' bottlings by Arran, only to those bond holders in Arran when the distillery started up back in 1995.

Usher's Green Stripe Circa 1960s

A Edinburgh based blend bottled by J & G Stewart. 

Please note the condition of the label and there is no marking for volume or ABV. 

Arran 1998 Single Sherry Cask

Distiled on 3rd February 1998 and then bottled in 2009, this Arran came from cask number #84 a single sherry cask.

Bottle number 482 of 578.

Please note slight tear to box and loose tax seal. 

Arran 2001 Single Bourbon Cask 

A single bourbon cask matured Arran, distilled on 28th May 2001 and bottled on 7th October 2010.

Single cask #42 this is bottle number 86 of 195.

Arran 1996 Whisky Broker 18 Year Old / PX Octave Finish

Distilled August 1996 and bottled January 2015 after maturation in a hogshead and a PX sherry octave finish. 

Cask number 884.

Ardbeg Peat Pack 4 x 5cl

Released in 2006 this collectable gift pack of four 5cl miniatures.

Including Ardbeg 10, Ardbeg 17, an Ardbeg Uigeadail and Ardbeg 1981 Kildalton.

Also included is \"The story of peat and Islay malt\" written by author of the whisky bible, Jim Murray.

Arran 1999 SMWS 13 Year Old 121.60

A single cask Arran produced by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.  Distilled on 28th September 1999 and bottled 13 years later from a refill ex bourbon hogshead.

One of 298 bottles.

Otherwise known as 'Interesting nooks and Crannies'.

Arran 1997 Single Cask  5 Year Old

Distilled in July 1997 this was then matured in a hogshead until October 2002.
