Ardbeg Fèis Ìle Releases

While the majority of Islay distilleries tend to bottle specially-branded Fèis Ìle releases during the annual festival of Islay malt, music and culture, Ardbeg is not one of them. It does, however, host an open day event as part of the celebrations which it calls Ardbeg Day.

Fèis Ìle exclusive bottlings were produced in 2011 and 2012, with the distillery nowadays preferring to use the Ardbeg Day event to launch its annual summer limited edition. Revellers are also often given first option to buy single casks that are released on the day. Generally selling out immediately, these bottles are generally considered to be Fèis Ìle exclusives in nature, if not by name.
