Fielden is an English whisky distillery, constructed in 2024 and owned by Still on the Hill Ltd. The company was originally based in Oxford where it operated The Oxford Artisan Distillery from 2016, however relocated to Yorkshire by building Fielden following investment from the Distill Ventures arm of Diageo in 2022.
Just as the company did in Oxford, distilling is focussed on heritage grains such as rye, wheat and barley and it has eight proprietary mashbills.
The Fielden brand was launched in 2024 at the same time as the announcement that its production would be be moved to the eponymous distillery in Yorkshire. Available initially as a sole non-age statement rye whisky expression, the brand replaced the outgoing Oxford Rye label however the spirit contained was still that produced at The Oxford Artisan Distillery.
