A whisky distillery in Goa, India, founded in 1996 by Paul P. John and part of the John Distilleries group. It laid down its first casks of single malt whisky in 2007 and launched its eponymous whisky brand in 2012. it produces both peated and non-peated spirit.

An Irish whiskey distillery located within the restored St. James church of the Liberties area of Dublin. It was opened in 2017 by Alltech, a company founded by the eponymous Pearse Lyons and it uses barrels imported from its sister Town Branch distillery in Kentucky.

A Welsh whisky distillery that revived the nation's distilling heritage when it first opened in 2000, the first in Wales for over a hundred years. It was commissioned by The Welsh Whisky Company and makes use of a unique and specially designed Faraday still to produce its whisky.

A contender for shortest-lived Speyside distillery, opened by Arthur Bell & Sons in 1975 and operational only until 1993. The distillery was intended to increase provision for the company's blends but its acquisition by Guinness in 1985 eventually saw it deemed surplus to requirements.

A former distilling giant located within the city of Glasgow and at one point the largest distillery in Scotland. Built in 1811, it was one of the grain distilleries that founded the Distillers Company and over the years was a key component in blends such as White Horse and Johnnie Walker.

An Islay distillery that developed a cult status following its closure by Distillery Company in 1983. Originally only providing fillings for blends, its single had become hugely sought-after by the turn of the 21st century, so much so in fact that it was re-opened again by Diageo in 2024.

An American whiskey distillery established in Iowa in 2018. It produces both bourbon and rye whiskies for the Templeton brand, first introduced as a non-distiller producer label in 2006.

A briefly operational distillery in London that produced whisky, gin, rum and other spirits between 2012 and 2020. It was originally located in Battersea before moving to Bermondsey in October 2015.

A former Canadian whisky distillery, established as United Distillers in Vancouver in 1927. The distillery in infamous for its role in smuggling liquor to the US during prohibition and was fined along with three others in 1935. It was later acquired and renamed by Seagram in 1954.
