Wemyss Properties Ltd was founded in 1946 and is a division of the historic multinational holding company, The Wemyss Development Company. It manages a number of its UK-based subsidiary interests across the property development, renewable energy, and wine and spirits industries.
The company's whisky interests include Wemyss Distillery Ltd which owns the Kingsbarns distillery, and Wemyss Family Spirits Ltd which owns the Kingsbarns single malt brand and the Wemyss Malts blended malts and independent single casks label.
