Speyside Distillers Company is a subsidiary of the Taiwan-based HOE International (which trades as Harvey's of Edinburgh) and manages the Speyside distillery and the production of its Spey and Beinn Dubh single malt brands.
The company was originally founded in 1999 by a private investment group that included Ian Jerman, Sir James Ackroyd and Ricky Christie, son of the Speyside distillery founder, George. Harvey's of Edinburgh acquired it in 2012.
