Sakurao Brewery & Distillery Co

The Sakurao Brewery & Distillery Co was established in 2021 having previously been called Chugoku Jozo. Originally founded in 1918, the company is a historic Japanese sake producer that entered the whisky trade in 1990. Its Togouchi brand was launched globally in 2013 and was produced using imported Scottish and Canadian spirit.

In 2018 it opened the Sakurao distillery and now markets its own single malt under the Togouchi and Sakurao brand names.
