Rubus Investment Ltd was an Edinburgh-based holding company, originally established in 2013 by Dmitry Morgunov. In 2015 the company invested in the Lindores Abbey distillery project by acquiring a majority stake in The Lindores Abbey Distilling Co. Construction then commenced in 2016 and the distillery opened the following year.

The company set up a subsidiary called Spirex Ltd in 2018 which assumed its shares in The Lindores Distilling Co, and Rubus Investment was subsequently dissolved the following year.
