The Porterhouse Group

The Porterhouse Group is an Irish multinational, originally founded in 1989 by Liam LaHart and Oliver Hughes when they opened their first Porterhouse brewery on the Bray seafront, followed by Dublin's first brewpub in 1996. This remains the core of the group's operation today, with a state of the art brewery opened in Glasnevin in 2018, which supplies their own bars in Dublin, London and New York, as well as trading with third-party premises.

The company also has various restaurants, a distribution arm and as of 2012, the Dingle Irish whiskey distillery which is operated through a subsidiary called Drioglann Uisce Beatha Dhaingean Ui Chuis Teoranta.
