John Crabbie & Company

John Crabbie & Co is a subsidiary of the drinks company, Halewood Artisanal Spirits and its current iteration was incorporated in 2006 following their acquisition of the name and brands from Macdonald & Muir. The original company traces its origins back to 1801 and was a blending and bottling business in Leith that eventually joined the Distillers Company Limited in 1963.

Today the company markets a number of Crabbie branded Scotch whiskies, including blends and single malts. It also returned distilling to Leith with the opening of the Bonnington distillery in 2020.
