Inverleith LLP is a private equity firm and the owner of the Eden Mill distillery and its whisky and gin brands. It acquired a majority stake in St Andrews Brewers Ltd in 2022, which still runs the distillery as its subsidiary. Another of the company's subsidiaries, the Artisanal Spirits Company, was the majority shareholder of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society before it was publicly floated in 2021.
The company was established in 2009 by Ben Thomson and former Glenmorangie CEO, Paul Skipworth.
