Hill, Thomson & Co
Hill, Thomson & Co is currently a non-trading subsidiary of Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whisky division of French drinks multinational, Pernod Ricard. The company traces it roots back to 1793 and took on its current name in 1857 when William Thompson was appointed as a partner in what was then known as George Hill & Co. The company eventually merged into The Glenlivet Distillers Ltd in 1970.
Following the merger, Hill Thomson & Co was granted the license for the Longmorn single malt brand. It is perhaps best known, however, for its Queen Anne and Something Special blends.
