High Coast Distillery AB is the owner of its eponymous single malt distillery in Sweden. The company was established in 2007 and opened what was at the time known as Box Destilleri in 2010. A publicly traded company, the largest owners are Lars Bäckvall through the company Norrlandspojkarna AB, BLL Invest AB and Axson Svenska AB.
The company's single malt brand was originally known as Box, but changed its name to High Coast following a legal dispute in 2018 with Scottish blenders, Compass Box.
