Feinkost Reifferscheid
Tracing its origins all the way back to 1890, Feinkost Reifferscheid was a historic German delicatessen that has since switched its focus to wine and spirits. It is run by husband-and-wife team, Bärbel and Lutz Reifferscheid, who joined the family business in the 1970s. With Bärbel's encouragement it began stocking Scotch whisky in 1993 and started marketing its own independent bottlings the very same year. The shop also runs the Friends of Single Malt Bonn whisky club and was designated as one of only six Ardbeg Embassies in Germany in 2011.
Feinkost Reifferscheid's independent Scotch whisky brands include The Whisky Embassy, Endangered Drams and the Romantic Rhine Collection, and it also bottled three batches of a single malt called The Scottish Referendum 45 vs 55 between 2014 and 2015.
