The Cotwold Distilling Company

The Cotswold Distilling Company Ltd is an English business established in 2013. Its founder was Daniel Szor, an American born in New York who had fallen in love with whisky while working in Paris. He subsequently moved from London to the Cotwolds region of England where he fixed upon the idea of leaving his job to pursue opening a distillery there.

With technical assistance and expertise provided by Harry Cockburn and the late Dr. Jim Swan, the company opened the Cotswolds distillery in 2014, launching its eponymous brand later that year through the release of its first gin. Its single malt whisky followed in 2017.
