Charles Mackinlay & Co

Charles Mackinlay & Co is a non-trading subsidiary of Whyte & Mackay Limited, itself part of the Alliance Global Group. Despite its dormant status, it is the named bottler on the company's Shackleton brand of blended Scotch.

Originally established back in 1815, the company is a historic name in Scotch whisky and first registered is famous Mackinlay's blend in 1847. Also an early advocate for single malt, it also introduced brands for distilleries such as Jura and Glen Mhor in the 1970s.
