The inaugural Campbeltown Malts Festival was held in 2014, conceived to expand upon the annual Springbank distillery open day first held five years prior. The event showcases the best of what Scotland's smallest whisky-producing region has to offer and is usually held the weekend prior to Fèis Ìle on neighbouring Islay.
In addition to open days at Springbank, Glengyle and Glen Scotia, the festival also includes local bottlers such as William Cadenhead and the Campbeltown Whisky Company among its programming.
