Alltech

Alltech is an American company founded in 1980 by Irish scientist and businessman, Pearse Lyons. The company is primarily engaged with animal nutrition and crop science, however Lyons' was a former Irish Distillers biochemist who had played a key role in the development of the new Midleton distillery in the 1970s. As such, he retained a keen interest in the industry and opened the Lexington Brewing & Distilling Company in 1999.

Today the company owns the Town Branch and Dueling Barrels distilleries in Kentucky and the Pearse Lyons distillery in Dublin, Ireland.
