Shackleton
Shackleton is brand of blended malt Scotch whisky produced by Whyte & Mackay Limited. It is produced using a recipe devised by Richard Paterson that aimed to replicate profile of bottles of Mackinlay’s Rare Old Highland Malt Whisky that were discovered left-behind in Antarctica by the explorer, Ernest Shackleton, in 1907.
Whyte & Mackay originally released two replica bottlings of the antique blend in 2011 and 2012 before rolling out the Shackleton brand in 2017.
