Long John

Long John is a historic brand of Scotch whisky, currently produced by Chivas Brothers and part of the holdings of French multinational, Pernod Ricard. It is named after the legendary ‘Long John’ Macdonald who founded Ben Nevis distillery. In the 19th century, casks of Ben Nevis malt were sold as Long John's Dew of Ben Nevis, before the Long John name started to be used for blends around 1909.

Today the brand is one of the best-selling in France and is available in a single expression called the Special Reserve.
