The Glover

The Glover is a brand of blended malt whiskies produced by the Scottish independent bottler, Adelphi Distillery Ltd, for its partner company, Fusion Whisky Ltd (originally TBG & Co). It is created by blending Scottish and Japanese single malts and was introduced in 2015, simultaneously launched in Aberdeen and Tokyo.
The brand was devised with the intention of raising awareness of the role played by Thomas Blake Glover (a 19th century Scottish merchant) in shaping modern day Japan. A number of releases have been produced and constituent whiskies have included Chichibu and Hanyu from Japan, and Longmorn, Glen Garioch and Arnamurchan from Scotland.
