George T. Stagg
George T. Stagg is a hugely popular straight bourbon brand produced by the Sazerac Company at its Buffalo Trace distillery. It is produced using the distillery's low rye mash bill (known as #1) and was introduced in 2002 as an addition to the annual Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC). It remains ones of the flagship names in the sought-after series to this day.
In 2013 the company introduced the brand's first line extension, which was called Stagg Jr. A barrel proof bourbon, these are bottled in twice-annual batches and receive a wider and more accessible distribution than the BTAC label. In 2022, the "Jr." was dropped from the name.
