Dun Eideann

The Dun Eideann brand is a range of independently bottled Scotch whiskies, currently owned and marketed by the Italian distributor, Donato srl. It was devised in the late 1980s by Signatory Vintage, who later set up a subsidiary called Dun Eideann Scotch Whisky Co in order to sell bottles to multiple distributors in the same country. Most notably this was Donato in Italy and Auxil in France.

Unusually, a brief selection of bottlings bearing the Dun Eideann name were also produced for French importer Dugas, using stock from Burn Stewart. Both were owned by CL Financial at the time, who acquired Auxil in 2000.
