Scapa 1989 Mackillop's Choice
Scapa
The third legal distillery to be built on the Orkney Isles, established in 1885 and today part of the Pernod Ricard Scotch whisky holdings. It is notable for its experimentation with Lomond stills under Hiram Walker ownership, an continues to use these today (albeit without the rectifying plates).
Mackillop's Choice
A respected brand of independently bottled single cask Scotch whiskies. The label was launched in 1999 by Angus Dundee Distillers, and the casks are selected by Lorne Mackillop, an industry veteran with years of experience in commodity trading and the wine world.
Iain Mackillop & Co
An independent bottling company established in 1998 as a subsidiary of Angus Dundee. It bottles only single cask Scotch whiskies which are offered through its flagship MacKillop's Choice brand, and less commonly as the unusual Mac Kullick's Choice label for William Pitters International in France.
