A famous blended Scotch brand, originally registered by Ainslie & Heilbron Distillers under the ownership of the Distillers Company in 1937. Popular expressions included Royal Edinburgh and King's Legend before it was discontinued in the 1980s. The label was sold to Ets. P. Bruggeman in 1998.

Ainslie & Heilbron Distillers was an important 20th century blender and distiller that was the license-holder for both the "old Clynelish" (now Brora) and Clynelish distilleries. Its blends were bottled under the Ainslie's brand and included expressions such as King's Legend and Royal Edinburgh.
