Bidding advice
You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.
Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum. If someone bids above your set limit, we’ll notify you by email so you can choose whether to increase your bid.
Placing a Single Bid
Alternatively, place a single bid by selecting the button on the right side of the bidding panel. The button displays the amount needed for the next increment. For example, if the current highest bid is £50.00, the button will show "+ £55.00" (reflecting a £5.00 increment).

Teaninich 2008 The Maltman 12 Year Old #1629
The Meadowside Blending Company was established in 2011 by Donald Hart and his son Andrew. Donald was a veteran in the whisky business, having previously run the Hart Brothers company with his siblings, Iain and Alistair. The family sold the Hart Brothers company in 2007, but were not absent from the independent bottling scene for long. The Maltman is their flagship brand, and has produced a number of renowned single cask releases.
This whisky was distilled in 2008 and matured for 12 years in refill sherry butt #1629.
Teaninich was built in the early 19th century and was eventually bought by blenders, Munro & Cameron, in 1895. Their trustees later sold the distillery to DCL in 1933, and it remains part of the Diageo operation to this day. The distillery's primary focus is on provision for the firms many blends, and the 10 year old Flora & Fauna has been the only permanent distillery bottling, with just a handful of rare official releases appearing alongside it over the years. As such, the majority of Teaninich single malt has appeared under independent labels such as this.
