Bidding advice
You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.
Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum. If someone bids above your set limit, we’ll notify you by email so you can choose whether to increase your bid.
Placing a Single Bid
Alternatively, place a single bid by selecting the button on the right side of the bidding panel. The button displays the amount needed for the next increment. For example, if the current highest bid is £50.00, the button will show "+ £55.00" (reflecting a £5.00 increment).
Incremental Bidding Explained
Our system increases bids based on preset increments, as shown in the table below, whether you set a maximum bid or make a single bid.

Monkey 47 Experimentum Series 2y06: London 50cl
The story begins in July 1945 when Wing Commander Montgomery “Monty” Collins of the Royal Air Force was posted to the British sector of divided Berlin. After leaving the RAF in 1951, he moved to the Northern Black Forrest region to start a watch making business which sadly failed. Instead, he opened a guest house which he named The Wild Monkey. Here Collins began distilling for guests and created a range of liquors and a house gin a named Schwarzwald Dry which would go on to be a favourite for many years. Although the guest house closed in the late 1970s, this story was rediscovered by Alexander Stein in 2006. Stein dedicated himself to reviving the Schwarzwald Dry Gin and vowed to use at least 1/3 locally scored botanicals from the Black Forrest. A total of exactly 47 different plant ingredients are used to make the gin which explains the name. Today Monkey 47 Gin has gained almost a cult-like following amongst enthusiasts and the rarest releases can expect to sell-out immediately.
The 6th release from Monkey 47 in the Experimentum Series, this release has been infused with Mint leaves and Honey
One of 500 bottles.
