You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.
Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum. If someone bids above your set limit, we’ll notify you by email so you can choose whether to increase your bid.
Placing a Single Bid
Alternatively, place a single bid by selecting the button on the right side of the bidding panel. The button displays the amount needed for the next increment. For example, if the current highest bid is £50.00, the button will show "+ £55.00" (reflecting a £5.00 increment).

Our system increases bids based on preset increments, as shown in the table below, whether you set a maximum bid or make a single bid.

Allt-A-Bhainne 1993 First Editions 22 Year Old Author's Series / Mark Twain
A lesser seen single malt, Allt-A-Bhainne is an unglamorous structure built by Seagram in 1975. Primarily a constituent in blends, Chivas Brothers bottled an official single malt for the first time in 2018. A number of independent releases like this were made available in the preceding years however, and are still a popular addition to catalogues today.
This whisky was distilled in May 1993. It was aged for 22 years in a single refill hogshead before being bottled in October 2015. This particular bottle celebrates the author Mark Twain.
Edition Spirits was founded in 2010 by Scott and Andrew Laing, the sons of Douglas Laing founder, Stewart. When he left Douglas Laing to establish the new Hunter Laing company in 2013, he was joined by his sons who made Edition Spirits one of its operating arms, along with Langside Distillers.

This bottle is being sold from the Pat's Whisk(e)y private collection which, numbering in excess of 9,000 bottles and over 2,000 miniatures, is the single largest collection of whisky ever to be brought to auction. Pat's Whisk(e)y is the result of over fifteen years of passion and dedication to the goal of creating one of the most complete libraries of whisky and whiskey ever amassed by an individual collector. Allt-A-Bhainne
A Speyside malt distillery built by Seagram Distillers in 1975 and today it is part of the Pernod Ricard portfolio. Somewhat unglamorous in its appearance and function, the distillery operates predominantly for the provision of Chivas Brothers' blended Scotch brands.

When browsing the bidding history on a specific lot, the list of recent bidders is shown as 'anonymised bidders' with the exception of any bids placed through your account - which would appear as your username.
When logged into your account your bids are shown with your username, however, other users are not able to see this and you will appear as an 'anonymised bidder'.
