You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.
Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum. If someone bids above your set limit, we’ll notify you by email so you can choose whether to increase your bid.
Placing a Single Bid
Alternatively, place a single bid by selecting the button on the right side of the bidding panel. The button displays the amount needed for the next increment. For example, if the current highest bid is £50.00, the button will show "+ £55.00" (reflecting a £5.00 increment).

Our system increases bids based on preset increments, as shown in the table below, whether you set a maximum bid or make a single bid.

The Hart Brothers bottling company was founded in 1964 when Iain and Donald Hart incorporated as a wine and spirit merchant and Scotch whisky blenders. They have been bottling independent single malts since the 1980s.
This 1983 vintage Craigellachie was bottled for their US customers in 1999.
The town of Craigellachie is synonymous with Speyside whisky, but its eponymous distillery has only recently come into its own as a single malt brand. For the majority of the 20th century it was owned by White Horse Distillers, who became part of DCL (now Diageo) in 1927. Its malt was important to many of their blends, and as a result, the first official distillery bottlings did not appear until the 1990s as part of the Flora & Fauna and Rare Malt Selection series. Diageo eventually offloaded the distillery to John Dewar & Sons who, under the ownership of Bacardi, created a well-respected permanent range for Craigellachie in 2014. Despite the limited availability of official releases prior to then, there were a number of independent bottlings like this that allowed connoisseurs to sample the distillery's famously sulphuric spirit.
Hart Brothers
In independent bottling company established in 1988 by Alistair and Donald Hart. It is based in East Kilbride and its flagship brand is its Hart Brothers Finest Collection single casks label. It also offers a variety of premium releases and blended Scotch bottlings too.
