MacPhail's 10 Year Old Single Malt Gold Cask Strength

A mystery malt from Gordon and Macphail, aged for 10 years... At cask strength! 

Marques De Riscal 1960

One of the more well know Bodegas of Rioja Alavesa (the most northern of the Rioja sub-regions) this reserva is  a blend of predominantly tempranillo with small amounts of Graciano and Mazuelo. Aged for at least 2 years, with one of those years in American oak, prior to release.

Marques De Riscal 1960

Macallan Sleeping Barrel Ice Bucket

A small figural ice bucket advertising The Macallan. A must for any whisky or Macallan enthusiast!

The sleeping barrel figure is embossed with 'Quiet please! Whisky sleeping, Spanish oak sherry casks'.

There are various examples of this promotional item in existence. This particular one is of a golfer and was originally from the Eagle Hotel, near Royal Dornoch Golf Club, as shown on the figure's cap.

Please note condition. The figure would have originally held a golf club in his hands, with several more in the golf bag slung over his shoulder, these are now missing. The gilding on the lettering has rubbed in places throughout and a section of the rim of the barrel at the back, above the circular aperture has broken away and is missing. Please contact us if you would like further images or a more detailed condition report.
