North Port 1979 Rare Malt 20 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This North Port was distilled in 1979 and bottled 20 years later in October 1999.

This is bottled by Private Cellar from closed the closed Highland distillery of North Port. 

Distilled in 1982. 

Edradour 1976 Signatory Vintage 23 Year Old

An 'official/independant' bottling by Signatory Vintage, the owners of Edradour.

Distilled on the 10th of May 1976 and bottled on the 7th of July 1999.

Cask #140, this is bottle number 23 of 260.

Nikka Tsuru 17 Year Old Blend

Nikka's new Tsuru 17 year old blend is becoming increasingly sought after, particularly following awards such as 'Best Japanese Blended Whisky between 13 and 20 Years' from the World Whisky Awards.

North Port / Brechin 1974 Gordon and Macphail

Mothballed in 1983 and demolished in 1990, the site of North Port now houses a Supermarket. 

North Port is quickly becoming scarce, this 1974 release from Gordon and Macphail was bottled in 1996.

Please note there is no box and condition of the labels. 

North Port - Brechin 1976 First Cask 24 Year Old

This is bottled by First Cask from closed the closed Highland distillery of North Port. 

Distilled on the 27th of December 1976 and matured in cask #3906.

Elijah Craig 18 Year Old Single Barrel

The 18 year old single barrel Elijah Craig was matured in a single charred oak barrel.

Barreled on 25th June 1997.   Barrel number #4079.

Released in very limited quantities.

Elixir di China Tassoni Liquore 1960s

Originally developed as a medicine to help fight malaria in the late 18th / early 19th century, with the gradual disapearance of the disease in Europe the elixir later became merely a bitter digestif.

Made of extracts taken from the bark of  the China calisaia plant which contains quinine.

Elmer T Lee Single Barrel

This whisky is named after the legendary Elmer T. Lee (1919-2013), who was hired in 1949 by Col. Albert B. Blanton to work at Buffalo Trace (Named George T. Stagg Distillery at the time).  Starting from the bottom he worked his way up to Master distiller then retiring in 1985, he passed away in 2013 aged 93.

A single barrel sour mash Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey.

North British 1985 Cadenhead's 31 Year Old

A single cask North British relesead by Cadenhead's, distilled in 1985 and bottled 31 years later. 

Edradour 1991 Straight From The Cask 10 Year Old

Distilled on 28th October 2004 and bottled on 16th February 2015.

Matured in a single sherry butt # 400 which yielded 898 bottles.

This small batch Bourbon comes from the same range as Rowan's Creek and is highly reccomended.
