Hennessy VS Cognac Kaws 'XX' Limited Edition

A limited edition Hennessy Cognac produced to mark the importance of the assembly of the cognac, the eye catching label was created with the idea of 'combing the art of blending with the idea of blending art', we fully understand!  

The artist known as 'KAWS' teamed up with Hennessy to create this limited edition, the label includes KAWS trademark 'XX' and is limited to 420,000 numbered bottles.

The VS bottling contains the same cognac as the classic Hennessy VS, a blend of 40 different eaux-de-vie.

Highland Fusilier 8 Year Old Blended Malt

An 8 year old blended malt from Gordon and Macphail for the Scottish infantry regiment \"The Royal Highland Fusiliers\". 

H&H Malmsey Madeira

Henriques and Henriques are one of the longest established and most respected producers of Madeira wine.  Of the 4 \"Noble Grapes\" of Madeira, Malvasia - or Malmsey by it's common English name - is the sweetest.  The wine is made on the Portuguese island of Madeira using only Malvasia grapes, fortified with grape-spirit, and left in oak casks to mature.

Unlike most wines and spirits which benefit from oak ageing, the oak barrels holding maturing Madeira wines are positioned in warm spaces and with the greatest possible exposure to the sun.  It is this heat which caramelises the natural sugars in the wood which are imparted into the wine creating Madeira's unique character.

San Piero Chianti Classico 1981

Chianti Classico is one of Italy's iconic wine regions - the original Chianti - and, since 1924, identified by the stamp of a black rooster on gold.  The wine is made from a blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% other grapes (native or international varietals), bottled with a minimum 12%abv.  This particular wine is from the 1981 vintage.

São Domingos Dão 1987 Reserva

Since 1937, the Caves Solar de São Domingos have been producing wines across the Portuguese regions of Bairrada, Beiras and Dão.

This 1987 Reserva, from the central-interior region of Dão, is a traditional blend dominated by Touriga Nacional with the support of Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo) and Alfrocheiro.  20% of the wine was matured for 8 months in French oak, while the other 80% rested in steel tanks to preserve the natural fruitiness.
