Hanyu and Chichibu Ghost Series #8 / One of 26 Bottles

A blended malt of Chichibu and Hanyu created as part of Ghost Series. This bottling was created by Ichiro Akuto for \"Spirits for small change\", A bi-annual charity event that focuses on Whisky. This bottle was launched at the event held on the 3rd of July 2016.

Limited to only 26 bottles, two were opened and enjoyed at the event. One was raffled off and three were auctioned over the evening. The remaining 20 were sold at Malt City. All the original procedes from this bottling were used for Japanese children's charities. 

This is bottle number 12 of 26 bottles. 

Highland Park 1964 / Orcadian Vintage 

A truly remarkable Highland Park, distilled in 1964 this is the oldest release as part of their 'Orcadian Vintage Series'.

Released in 2009 this was a vatting of two hogsheads, casks #8737 and #8738 yielded only 290 bottles.  

The presentation as always with Highland Park is spectacular, a hard wood case with a silver Highland Park amulet logo inlay and a stunning black glass bottle.

Hanyu 1988 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #7100 / Eight of Clubs​

Distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2011 from cask number 7100. 

Initially matured in hogshead prior to being finished in American oak puncheon.

Hanyu 2000 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9100 / Five of Hearts​

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2008. 

Originally bottled in a hogshead then finished in a French oak Cognac cask. 

Bottle number 113 of 326.

Hanyu 1990 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #9032 / Ten of Clubs​

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008 from single cask #9032.

Matured in a hogshead and finished in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Butt

Ardbeg Auriverdes Gold Edition

The new and shiny Ardbeg Auriverdes, launched on 31st May 2014 on 'Ardbeg Day' which coincides with the 'Ardbeg Day' with the Islay Festival.  

A very rare bottle, this Auriverdes was never made available to the public, it was only given to Journalists, Bloggers and Distillery Ambassadors before the official release at the end of May 2014.

The Auriverdes (Auri = Gold and Verdes = Green) is named after the Brazilian sports teams colours whilst also referring to Ardbeg's iconic green bottle and the 'golden' whisky inside.  

This particular example come with an interesting bottle stand and a Medium Ardbeg Day 2015 T-Shirt (Which lights up!). 

Highland Park 20 Year Old Rebus

Ian Rankin's fictional Detective Rebus has been solving Edinburgh crimes for 20 years, this bottle was released in 2007 to celebrate this. 

Rankin specially selected this cask and the author and special friends were given the bottles as gifts, it was never available for purchase. 

A 20 year old Highland Park presented in an excellently crafted wooden box. 

One of the most rare and collectable Highland Parks available. 

One of only 150 bottles.

Dalmore 30 Year Old 2015 Release

The most recent release of Dalmore, released last year in 2015.  

This 30 year old whisky was created from whiskies matured in Matusalem Oloroso and Amoroso Oloroso sherry butts from Gonzalez Byass.

Hanyu 2000 'The Game' Single Cask #1302 Mizunara Wood Finish

This is a bottle from a Japanese food and spirits importer called Shinanoya exclusively for the Japanese market.

This is the fifth release in their acclaimed \"The Game\" series which contains Hanyu from the final year that the distillery was producing.

This was finished in Mizunara Wood

A fantastic release from Akuto Ichiro, this 15 year old was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2010.

Hanyu, is increasingly popular at auction, the distillery was dismantled after closure in 2000 and has quickly taken pride of place alongside Karuizawa as the most in demand Japanese whiskies at auction.

Highland Park Earl Haakon 18 Year Old Third Edition

This is the third edition of the Earls series, which featured the Earl Magnus and Saint Magnus. This is an 18 year old Highland Park bottled at cask strength.

Comes with a fully illustrated leaflet telling the tale of Haakon. The original two bottlings in the Magnus collection celebrated the influential 11th century Earl who was canonised 20 years after his untimely death. He was murdered by Haakon, his treacherous cousin, who's infamy was celebrated with this third and final release.

Named after the rule of Orkney in the 1100’s, Earl Magnus is the first edition of the trilogy consisting of; Earl Magnus, Saint Magnus and Earl Haakon.  A 15 year old, cask strength release within an outstanding wooden box and fashioned glass styled on bottles from 150 years ago, this quickly become a desirable Highland Park.

Only 5,976 of the Earl Magnus were created.

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release

Released in 2009 to members of the Ardbeg Committee, the original Ardbeg Supernova was peated to 100 ppm.

In comparison to the following released only 2,400 bottles of this were produced!
