Dalmore 40 Year Old

The oldest release within Dalmore's Rare and Prestigious range, this 40 year old is matured in the classic Dalmore combination of American oak and Gonzalez Byass sherry casks.

One of only 1,000 bottles produced and released with a certificate of authenticity and a very elegant leather bound case.

Dalmore 1974

You can always expect Dalmore to create impressive packaging, addition to Dalmore's Rare and Prestigious series appears in a leather bound case.  The whisky was distilled on the 15th April 1974 and bottled in 2008 matured exclusively in a Matusalem sherry butts from Jerez De La Frontera.

Dalmore 1981 Amoroso Sherry Finesse

Distilled on the 24th November 1981 this 26 year old Dalmore was matured in American white oak bourbon barrels before being given an 'intense' finish in Amoroso sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass.

A certificate of authenticity accompanies the bottle, signed by Richard Paterson - this is bottle number 7 of 484.

Caol Ila 20 Year Old 150th Anniversary

A stunning bottle of Caol Ila bottled in 1996 to mark the 150th anniversary of Caol Ila - 1846 to 1996.

Released exclusively to employees.

Diageo Hill Street 50th Anniversary Decanter 

A very rare decanter presented to employees of Diageo to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Diageo at Hill Street, Kilmarnock.

The decanter contains the rare Johnnie Walker 1820 blend produced originally only for the Taiwanese market which contains whiskies around 21 years old.

Please note there is some marks on the box and it has been damaged on two corners.

Clynelish 1972 Douglas Laing 30 Year Old

Bottled by Douglas Laing, this Clynelish was distilled in November 1972 and bottled in July 2003.

Only 126 bottles produced.

Please note there has been slight wear and tear to the box, overall condition is excellent.

Dalmore 1973 Gonzalez Byass Finish 30 Year Old

Distilled on the 22nd March 1973 and matured in American oak before being finished in Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass, Jere. de la Frontera, bottled as a 30 year ol

Rosebank 1990 21 Year Old

Rosebank is a sorely missed lowland malt but occasionally Diageo has a Special Release

This was aged in refill American oak and refill European oak casks, a must have official bottle from this lost classic.

Distilled in 1990 and released within Diageo's Super Premium selection.

Limited to only 5604 bottles, this is bottle number 4063.

Rosebank 1981 Rare Malt 22 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Rosebank was distilled in 1981 and bottled 22 years later in 2003.

Bottle number 3552.

Rosebank 1981 20 Year Old Rare Malt

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Rosebank was distilled in 1981 and bottled in the May 2002 release, at another impressive abv of 62.3%.

Coleburn 1979 Rare Malt 21 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Coleburn was distilled in 1979 and bottled as a 21 year old at 59.40%.

Dufftown-Glenlivet 1975 Rare Malt 21 Year Old 

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Dufftown-Glenlivet distilled in 1975 and bottled as a 21 year old, this is bottle number 2022.

Caol Ila 1975 20 Year Old Rare Malt (US Import)75cl

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 1995 as a 20 year old, there were eight releases of Caol Ila under the Rare Malt Selection.   This is a 75cl bottled at 61.12% for the US market, this is bottle number 1457.

Please note there was no box for this release.

Constantino's Colheita 1910 

A lovely old bottle of Port produced by Constantino.

Sociedade dos Vinhos do Porto Constantino was founded in 1877 by Constantino de Almeida who purchased two key vineyards at this time; Quinta do Crastro and Quinta de Sobreira.  Followhing Constantino de Almeida's death in 1922 the house fell into his three sons hands and became well known as a prestigous port wine company. Eventuall, in 1958 the port house was merged with the famous Hunt Roope & Co group (established 1650) which had recently been purchased by Ferreira and consqeuently Sogrape.

Colheita is single vintage tawny port matured for a number of years (usually) in wood, now-a-days these bottlings carry the date at which the port was bottled, unfortunately we don't have this information for this item.  Colheita, Portugese for 'harvest' or 'vintage' legally requires the port to be matured for no less than seven years but in some cases extends well beyond this.

Please note we do not have a bottle size or alcoholic strength on this item, the label carries some ageing to it - please refer to the images.

Cardhu 12 Year Old 1970s

A very old bottling of Cardhu 12 year old, circa 1970s.  Includes a lovely leaflet explaining why Cardhu is so rare.

There is some damage to this item;

• The lid of the box is missing
• Staining and tears on the box and label
• The portugese seal has been torn on one side.

Dailuaine 1973 Rare Malt 22 Year Old 75cl

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled at Dailuaine in 1973 and bottled as a 22 year old, this is bottle number 395.

Released as a 75cl without a box.

Rosebank 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna

This Flora and Fauna bottling of Rosebank has been discontinued for a number of years and was the last standard official release from Rosebank.

There have been super premium releases from Diageo since this bottle was discontinued.

Royal Lochnagar 1972 Rare Malt 24 Year Old 75cl

Dalmore Millennium Release 1263 Custodian 2012 / 1st Release

The first cask to be bottled for Dalmore's custodians, a concept introduced by the distillery for it's followers in 2012.

A trio of casks were filled at midnight on January 1st 2000 and gradually released on their 12th, 15th, and 18th birthday's.

This is the first 'Millennium Release', bottled in 2012 as a 12 year old. Initiallly matured in an American oak ex-bourbon cask, before being finished in a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask.

Dalmore King Alexander III

Crafted to honour the act of saving Scotland’s King in 1263, this expression unites six specially selected casks housing spirit of perfect maturity. Whiskies matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry wood, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques are brought together. 

Dalmore King Alexander is at the top of the core-range Dalmore's.

Royal Island 30 Year Old

Produced by Arran distillery, this 30 year old blend is not seen very often at all.

Dalwhinnie 12 Year Old Managers Dram (2009)

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Bottled in 2009 as a 12 year old Dalwhinnie.

Caol Ila 1998 Feis Ile 2013

Release in June 2013 for the annual Feis Ile, this Caol Ila was specially selected by Billy Stitchell.

Bottle number 0584 of 3,000

Billy said this about how the whisky matured:

“Spirit distilled in 1998 has been triple-cask matured. For 12 years it rested in a combination of Refill Butts, Hogsheads and Barrels. The vatted whisky was then allowed to mature for several months in active hogshead casks to impart a spicy/oaky note to the existing delicate Caol Ila smoke. Finally it was treated to a final gentle maturation in European oak.”

Caol Ila 2000 Feis Ile 2011

Released for the annual Feis Ile, in 2011 this Caol Ila was hand selected by Billy Mitchell and was matured in sherry cask 301696.

Dufftown-Glenlivet Centenary 20 Year Old

Exclusive to staff members, this celebratory bottle was released to mark the Centenary of Dufftown distillery.

A 20 year old was released at cask strength in 2006, this is bottle number 377.

Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve

The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve is drawn from casks of three types: American white oak ex-bourbon casks, 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts and premier cru Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques with the idea being to compliment a cigar.

Dufftown-Glenlivet Centenary 20 Year Old

Exclusive to staff members, this celebratory bottle was released to mark the Centenary of Dufftown distillery.

A 20 year old was released at cask strength in 2006, this is bottle number 230.

Dallas Dhu 1978 Signatory Vintage 19 Year Old

Specially bottled for the World of Whiskies by Signatory Vintage.

This Dallas Dhu was Distilled on 30th June 1978 and bottled from cask #1350  in September 1997.

Bottle number 365 of 450.

Caperdonich 1998 Gordon and Macphail

Distilled in September 1998 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail in August 2011 this 12 year old Caperdonich was matured in refill sherry hogsheads.
