A stunning and particularly rare bottle of Port Ellen released in 1998 to mark the 25th Anniversary of Port Ellen Maltings.

This has been widely reviewed and acclaimed reaching a cracking 94 points on WhiskyFun.com, certainly a Port Ellen for any serious collector.

The first of the incredibly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1979 and bottled 22 years later in 2001, bottled at cask strength and limited to 6,000 bottles, this is bottle 3597.

Port Ellen is the lost jewel in the Islay crown. Closure in 1983 has enabled this distillery to receive a near mythical amount of love and respect. As stocks get thinner on the ground, these bottles become rarer and rarer

The fourth in the wildly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1978 and bottled 25 years later in 2004, bottled at cask strength and limited to 5,100 bottles, this is bottle 1,419.

Hillside 1970 25 Year Old Rare Malt

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Hillside, more widely known as Glen Esk released a handful of  Rare Malt bottlings, two of them were released in Europe from 1970 and 1971 as 25 years old.

This particular bottled was distilled in 1970 and bottled as a 25 year old.

A Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) bottling of Highland Park distilled in November 1995 and bottled in October 2009 as a 13 year old.

This single cask Highland Park was released within the SMWS Far Flung Flavours range of whiskies, hence the slightly more eccentric label design, the single cask yielded 311 bottles.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
