Ardbeg 1976 Single Cask #2390 Feis Ile 2002

A Single sherry butt #2390 was filled on 24^th November 1976 and matured for 25 years prior to bottling on 27^th April 2002 for the Feis Ile. 

Only available at Ardbeg Distillery, 494 bottles of this Ardbeg were filled.

Brora 1970 Douglas Laing 32 Year Old

This is one of only two casks ever bottled from 1970 a year of particularly low production (apparently), it is particularly sought after as no other bottling of Brora exists (that carries the name 'Brora') from before 1970.  Doulgas Laing were fortunate enough to bottle two casks, this 32 year old and another two years later as a 34 year old.

Distilled in 1970 and bottled in 2002 as a 32 year old, only 297 bottles were released and bottled at cask strength.

Please note there is a little mark on the front label and some minor 'glue' residue on the front of the box, overall condition is excellent!

Ardbeg Lord of the Isles 25 Year Old

The Ardbeg Lord of the Isles, 25 year old is a highly sought after and inconic Ardbeg released between 2002 and 2007.

Named after the 'Lord of the Isles' who ruled the Western Isles and parts of Argyll between the 12th and 15th Centuries.

Bottle code L6 151 06:13 4ML- 31st May 2006.

Please note the minor damage to the inside of the box.

Brora 30 Year Old 2006 Release

The fourth release of 30 year old Brora released as part of the 'special release' series in 2006 by Diageo.

Bottle 2991 of 3000 bottles.

Please note, there is some rust on the lid and inside the box.

Bowmore 1981 28 Year Old

Bowmore 1981 is the first in Bowmore's Vintage Series, distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2010.

Only 402 bottles were produced, includes certificate of authenticity.

Brora 30 Year Old 2009 Release

The 2009 release of Brora was rated very highly by John Hansell of The Whisky Advocat, of course we know what you are thinking.....it's Brora they are all rated very highly!

Auchentoshan 1979 Oloroso Sherry Cask 32 Year Old

A truly stunning whisky to look at and certainly full of colour.

Distilled in 1979 and matured fully in a single first fill Oloroso sherry casks, for 32 years.

Brora 1981 Duncan Taylor 25 Year Old

A single cask bottling of Brora released by Duncan Taylor in their Rare Auld cask strength series.

Distilled in November 1981 and bottled 25 years later in February 2007, from single cask #1423.

This is bottle number 608 of 682.

Oban 16 Year Old Manager’s Dram 200^th Anniversary 1994

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Bottled to celebrate Oban’s 200^th anniversary, 1794 – 1994  this 16 year old was released exclusively from sherry casks by distillery manager John William and his employees listed on the rear of the bottle.

Bottled July 1994.

Ardbeg 1998 Single Cask #1275 

A single cask Ardbeg, distilled on 21st May 1998 and bottled on 29th October 2009, from single cask #1275 a first fill bourbon barrel.

Bottle number 163 of 252.

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release

Released in 2009 to members of the Ardbeg Committee, the original Ardbeg Supernova was peated to 100 ppm.

In comparison to the following released only 2,400 bottles of this were produced!

Aultmore 16 Year Old Centenary Edition

This 16 year old was bottled in 1997 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Aultmore distillery.

This is a particularly rare Aultmore bottled at cask strength and a label which lists the employees working at the distillery in 1997.

Refill sherry hogshead #2763 yielded 270 bottles, this is bottle number 20.

A marriage of 9 American Oak casks and 3 European Oak Sherry casks went into creating Batch 8, a limited release of 2,700 bottles. A very highly sought after range from Balvenie.

Arran Devil's Punch Bowl Chapter I

The first edition of Arran's Devil Punch Bowl which consists of 27 casks distilled between 1997 and 2004; 17 of which are sherry casks, 6 ‘unpeated’ bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks.

Known as the Angels and Devils edition, only 6,600 bottles have been released.

Ardbeg 17 Year Old

The first releases of Ardbeg 17 year old sparked the renewed interest in Ardbeg. 

Now, several years after being discontinued, it is still recognised as a sensational Ardbeg.

Octomore Discovery Feis Ile 2014 

Perhaps the most desirable of the new Feis Ile releases, this is the first time Bruichladdich has released an Octomore for Feis Ile and it is incredibly limited with only 1,695 bottles being released.

Distilled on the 18th February 2007 and bottled for the 2014 Bruichladdich Open Day at Feis Ile, with a very impressive abv of 69.5%

Octomore Discovery Feis Ile 2014 

Perhaps the most desirable of the new Feis Ile releases, this is the first time Bruichladdich has released an Octomore for Feis Ile and it is incredibly limited with only 1,695 bottles being released.

Balmenach 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna (Wooden Box)

One of the most desirable of the Flora and Fauna series, the tasty Balmenach was released as a 12 year old, this bottle is presented with a wooden box.

Distillerys Company Ltd (DCL/Diageo) created the Flora and Fauna series in the early 1990s, when DCL sold the distillery to Inverhouse distillers this bottle was discontinued.

Ardbeg Rollercoaster Committee Reserve

Released June 2010, Ardbeg Rollercoaster was strictly only available at the distillery or via Ardbeg.com.  However Ardbeg did not expect such demand, the website quickly broke and it did not take long for all 15,000 bottles to sell out.

Released to mark the 10^th anniversary of the Ardbeg Committee the Rollercoaster consists of ten vintages from 1997 to 2006

Ardbeg Kildalton 2014

The latest release from Ardbeg in connection with the North Highland Initiative (NHI) a charity which helps rural communities across the Northern Highlands.

This new and elegantly packaged Ardbeg is a combination of first fill and refill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.  Please do not mistake this Kildalton for that which was released in 2004, 10 years ago. 

Only available at Ardbeg distillery for the time being before being sold online via their website and released in very limited quantities in Germany and Sweden.

Please note that the inner packaging is very fragile and in some cases has cracked, Ardbeg is aware of this issue.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan Committee Reserve

Named after the famous whirlpool to the north of Islay, this release of Corryvreckan was only available to Ardbeg Committee members prior to its repackaging and official release in 2008

Bottled on the 19^th March 2008, only 5000 bottles were released.

Ardbeg Alligator Committee Reserve For Discussion

Released for discussion by the Ardbeg Committee.

Released in June 2011, Ardbeg Alligator takes its name from the aggressive charring of the American casks the whisky was matured in.  This charring level is known as the Alligator char because the cracking of the wood under the heat looks similar to the skin of an Alligator.
