A stunning bottle of Caol Ila bottled in 1996 to mark the 150th anniversary of Caol Ila - 1846 to 1996.

Released exclusively to employees.

Clynelish 1972 Douglas Laing 30 Year Old

Bottled by Douglas Laing, this Clynelish was distilled in November 1972 and bottled in July 2003.

Only 126 bottles produced.

Please note there has been slight wear and tear to the box, overall condition is excellent.

Hillside 1970 25 Year Old Rare Malt

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Hillside, more widely known as Glen Esk released a handful of  Rare Malt bottlings, two of them were released in Europe from 1970 and 1971 as 25 years old.

This particular bottled was distilled in 1970 and bottled as a 25 year old.

Bottle number 5189.

Highland Park Thor 16 Year Old

The first in Highland Park's Valhalla series released in 2012 which also comprises of  the Loki and Freya released over the next two consecutive years.

This 16 year old Highland Park is a limited edition of 23,000 bottles.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Coleburn was distilled in 1979 and bottled as a 21 year old at 59.40%.

Caol Ila 1975 20 Year Old Rare Malt (US Import)75cl

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 1995 as a 20 year old, there were eight releases of Caol Ila under the Rare Malt Selection.   This is a 75cl bottled at 61.12% for the US market, this is bottle number 1457.

Constantino's Colheita 1910 

A lovely old bottle of Port produced by Constantino.

Sociedade dos Vinhos do Porto Constantino was founded in 1877 by Constantino de Almeida who purchased two key vineyards at this time; Quinta do Crastro and Quinta de Sobreira.  Followhing Constantino de Almeida's death in 1922 the house fell into his three sons hands and became well known as a prestigous port wine company. Eventuall, in 1958 the port house was merged with the famous Hunt Roope & Co group (established 1650) which had recently been purchased by Ferreira and consqeuently Sogrape.

Colheita is single vintage tawny port matured for a number of years (usually) in wood, now-a-days these bottlings carry the date at which the port was bottled, unfortunately we don't have this information for this item.  Colheita, Portugese for 'harvest' or 'vintage' legally requires the port to be matured for no less than seven years but in some cases extends well beyond this.

A very old bottling of Cardhu 12 year old, circa 1970s.  Includes a lovely leaflet explaining why Cardhu is so rare.

Caol Ila 1998 Feis Ile 2013

Release in June 2013 for the annual Feis Ile, this Caol Ila was specially selected by Billy Stitchell.

Bottle number 0584 of 3,000

Billy said this about how the whisky matured:

“Spirit distilled in 1998 has been triple-cask matured. For 12 years it rested in a combination of Refill Butts, Hogsheads and Barrels. The vatted whisky was then allowed to mature for several months in active hogshead casks to impart a spicy/oaky note to the existing delicate Caol Ila smoke. Finally it was treated to a final gentle maturation in European oak.”

Highland Park 12 Year Old Saint Magnus

Saint Magnus, follows the initial Earl Magnus release but sees the once ruler of Orkney become a Saint.  The second within the trilogy, with the same elaborate packaging and a 12 year old whisky, again bottled at cask strength.

Only 11,994 bottles of the Saint Magnus were created.

Caol Ila 2000 Feis Ile 2011

Released for the annual Feis Ile, in 2011 this Caol Ila was hand selected by Billy Mitchell and was matured in sherry cask 301696.

Bottle number 346.

Caperdonich 1998 Gordon and Macphail

Distilled in September 1998 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail in August 2011 this 12 year old Caperdonich was matured in refill sherry hogsheads.

Highland Park 12 Year Old Orkney Rugby Club

A very limited bottling of Highland Park 12 Year Old released to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Orkney Rugby Club 1966 to 2006.

Only 540 bottles were produced.

A bottle of the Sapphire Flagon of the Chivas Regal 21 Year Old 'Royal Salute' includes Velvet bag and the old black and gold box.

HIghland Park 1995 SMWS Pinball Machine High Score Taste 4.136

A Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) bottling of Highland Park distilled in November 1995 and bottled in October 2009 as a 13 year old.

This single cask Highland Park was released within the SMWS Far Flung Flavours range of whiskies, hence the slightly more eccentric label design, the single cask yielded 311 bottles.

A Douglas Laing bottling of Caperdonich, distilled in June 1994 and bottled in June 2012 from a refill hogshead that yielded 297 bottles.

Hazelburn  2002 Sauternes Wood Finish 8 Year Old

Hazelburn is produced at Springbank distillery, without (much) peat influence and triple distilled.  

This Hazelburn was distilled in June 2002 before being matured for 5 years in refill bourbon casks and matured for a further 3 years in Sauternes casks.

Limited to 9,180 bottles.
