Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix

A limited edition release selected from three warehouses which collapsed on the 7th January 2010, due to adverse weather conditions (a rather heavy snow storm).

Bottled without an age statement, Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix has been highly acclaimed and includes Oloroso and American oak casks from warehouses ranging from 13 to 30 years old.

Glenglassaugh Rare Cask Series 3 x 20cl / 26, 37, 43 Year Old

This is a selection of three old whiskies from Glenglassaugh, bottled at cask strength in a beautiful presentation case.

Glenfiddich 1995 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel / Spirit of Speyside 2018

This was an exclusive hand-fill bottling available at Glenfiddich distillery throughout the Spirit of Speyside whisky festival 2018.

Distilled in 2005 and matured in a single 1st fill bourbon barrel number #15836, which was specially selected by Glenfiddich's Malt Master, Brian Kinsman.

This bottle features a hand-written label.

Distilled in 1977, this is one of 90 bottles. 

Glen Ord 30 Year Old Limited Edition 2005

A 30 year old cask strength Glen Ord, bottled within the old style elegant square bottle back in 2005.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled 1976 and bottled April 2005, this is bottle number 4463.

Glenfarclas 1983 Family Cask #30​ 75cl / US Import

Bottled as part of the Glenfarclas Family Cask series, perhaps the most extensive collection of vintage whiskies from a single distillery.

This 1983 vintage was bottled on the 14th November 2011 from single cask #30, yielding 212 bottles.

Glen Albyn 1968 Gordon and MacPhail

This bottling from the long lost distillery Glen Albyn was distilled in 1968 and bottled in 1991.

Glenugie 1980 Chieftain's 28 Year Old

Glenugie distilled in September 1980 and bottled in August 2009.

Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Havana Reserve

The short-lived 'Havana' Reserve 21 year old Glenfiddich, which was removed from circulation due to causing issues in the US with its association to Cuba.

Finished in rum casks, this whisky was replaced eventually with the current 21 year old Glenfiiddich Gran Reserva.

The late Iain Banks in his search for the perfect dram in his book Raw Spirit, claimed this to be it.  

Glenugie 1977 Signatory Vintage 30 Year Old Cask Strength

A rare bottling of Glenugie distilled on 18th October 1977 and bottled on 10th December 2012. 

Bottle number 153 of 243 bottles.  

Glen Grant 1965 First Cask 31 Year Old

An independent bottling of Glen Grant by Direct Wines, part of their First Cask series.

Distilled in November 1965 and bottled 31 years later.

Glenmorangie 25 Year Old Malaga Wood Finish

A 25 year old Glenmorangie that was finished in ex-Malaga wine butts. Malaga is a fortified sweet Spanish wine made from Moscatel grapes.

Hibiki Suntory Whisky 17 Year Old

A Suntory blend that is an early version of Hibiki, but is presented in a precursor to what would become the signature style.

The Hibiki 17 year old was eventually discontinued in 2018 due to stock shortages at Suntory.

Glendronach 1990 Single Cask 26 Year Old #2973

A 2016 addition to the ever-popular Glendronach single cask range, this was part of batch #14.

Distilled 13th June 1990 and bottled from Pedro Ximenez puncheon #2973.

Glenugie distilled in May 1980 and bottled in February 1997 after being matured in two Sherry casks.

Hoffman Rare Selection Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1980s

A very interesting bourbon bottled exclusively for the Japanese export market in the late 1980s.

The Hoffman distillery was purchased by Julian Van Winkle III after the death of his father had terminated the agreement with Stitzel-Weller distillery that allowed them to bottle Old Rip Van Winkle bourbon there. Julian III bought the distillery in 1983, and it is unclear whether this bottle contains warehoused stock that may have been part of the deal. No-age statement bourbon tends to be around 5-8 years old, and the Japanese had a preference for it to be well-aged at the time, so it is unlikely therefore that this is Hoffman-distilled whiskey. Van Winkle reserved most of his Stitzel-Weller stock for the Old Rip Van Winkle brands, preferring to source whiskey (mostly from the old Heaven Hill) for his other brands. This is likely the case for this.

Van Winkle's agent in Japan at the time was Marci Palatella, who he also bottled Very Olde St Nick for. The dripping black wax on this example is a trademark of his bottling style at the time.

This was bottled in 1988 at 86 US proof at the distillery, which Van Winkle had renamed Old Commonwealth.

Garnheath 1974 Douglas Laing 44 Year Old / XOP

Launched in 2013, the Xtra Old Particular (XOP) single cask series from Douglas Laing is reserved for cask considered to be the \"family jewels.\"

This Garnheath was distilled in 1974 and bottled from single refill barrel #DL12373 in March 2018. Garnheath is a closed grain distillery that was part of the Moffat distilling complex.
