Smooth Ambler Old Scout 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon

The Smooth Ambler is a craft distillery based in West Virginia, but the 'Old Scout' range is a collection of barrels sourced from other places, meeting the high standards of the Smooth Ambler brand. Old Scout was initially conceived as a means of generating funds in the intervening years that the initial Smooth Ambler spirit was maturing into whiskey, however its popularity has resulted in its continuation since.

This 10 year old is from barrel #1696 which was bottled on the 1st of September 2015 and most likely sourced from MGP distillery in Indiana.

Springbank 1992 Da Mhile 7 Year Old Organic​

An organic Springbank from Da Mhile, which is acknowledged as the world's first organic whisky approved by The Soil Association. 

This was distilled in June 1992, matured in sherry casks before being bottled in September 1999.

Quite a highly acclaimed Springbank chosen by Frank McHardy, distilled in 1997 and bottled in June 2007 at cask strength.

Shinshu Mars Komagatake / Nature of Shinshu Kohiganzakura

The Shinshu Mars distillery stopped production in 1992, but in 2011 they started reproducing.

This whisky is a blend of different vintages including slightly peated malts from 2013.

This second release is named for the cherry blossom of the Nagano region. 

Springbank 12 Year Old 175th Anniversary

A limited edition of only 12,000 bottles released in 2003 to celebrate the opening of the distillery in 1828.

Crawford's Special Reserve 1950s / US Import

A & A Crawford was a whisky blender and merchant which was established in Leith in 1860. The Crawford's brand however now forms part of Whyte and Mackay's portfolio.

This bottle was imported by Somerset Importers Ltd of New York. 

Caroni 1999 Gleann Mor Spirits 16 Year Old

Distilled in Trinidad in 1999, and bottled in May 2015 after 16 years.

Sullivans Cove 2016 Single Port Cask #PB01005

Tasmania Distillery has quickly become a very desirable producer, particularly after one of their releases being awarded the best single malt in the world 2014, at the World Whisky Awards - the first time that a Scottish whisky was not given this award.  That's not all it has received great acclaim elsewhere from whisky writers, and won a World Whisky Award again in 2018, this time for Best Single Cask.

This private bottling was produced from a 20 litre French Oak ex-Port barrel, filled on the 9th of May 2016 and bottled just under 2 years later on the 8th May 2018.

Bottle number 6 of only 29 bottles.

A 19 year old Cragganmore bottled by the Bladnoch Forum.

Distilled on the 8th of March 1991, matured in hogshead 1176 and bottled on the 12th of July 2010

Compass Box Delilah's 25th Anniversary 75cl / US Import

The second Compass Box homage to Delilah's, the legendary punk rock whisky bar in Chicago. The first was bottled on the advent of it's 20th anniversary in 2013, and now this comes 5 years later on it's 25th.

The vatting was produced using a small parcel of the original 20th anniversary blend, aged a further 5 years in cask, with Spanish sherry oak and American oak matured whiskies added to the mix.

One of 8520 bottles.

A limited edition blended malt from the boutique blenders Compass Box, which contains Clynelish, Glentauchers, Balblair and Mortlach.

Distilled in 1989 and matured for 12 years in hogsheads and traditional barrels, finished in rum wood.

Bottled April 2002 and limited to 5,700 bottles.

Camus Napoleon Cognac Limited Edition Decanter

Camus is a well established Cognac brand that carries history back to 1863 when Jean-Baptiste Camus founded a group of Cognac producers under the banner 'La Grande Marque'.  

This is a limited edition version of their Limoges porcelain decanters, as always, painted with 22k gold.

There are no markings for volume or strength on the bottle but it is approximately 70cl.

Scapa released this 16 year old expression in 2008 to replace the popular 14 year old. Both have now been discontinued.

The Smooth Ambler is a craft distillery based in West Virginia. The 'Old Scout' range of whiskies from Smooth Ambler is a collection of barrels sourced from other places, meeting the high standards of the Smooth Ambler brand.

This 7 year old rye whisky is from batch #31 and was bottled on 4th April 2014.

This much loved release was discontinued in 2015 after the distillery ran out of the barrels they had sourced from MGP in Indiana.

A legendary blend produced by Lochside distillery in the 1970s.

Lochside was famous for producing both malt and grain on the same site which makes this blend even more interesting!

Camus Napoleon Bicentenary Cognac Decanter 1969 / with Miniature

Camus is a well established Cognac brand that carries history back to 1863 when Jean-Baptiste Camus founded a group of Cognac producers under the banner 'La Grande Marque'.  

This particular decanter of Camus, in the shape of a book, was produced to celebrate the 200th birthday of Napoleon (1769-1969). 

There are no visible measurements but similar example are 40% ABV and 70cl.

Lot includes a matching miniature.
