Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch #12

Aberlour A'Bunadh is bottled at cask strength in the tradition of 19th century single malts when villagers would come to the distillery to collect their dram straight from the cask, often in apothecary bottles obtained from the village chemist. These were the inspiration for the A'Bunadh bottle shape today.

A'Bunadh is produced using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #12 released in 2004.

Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon 1990s

The Rebel Yell brand was created for Stitzel-Weller distillery in the late 1940s by Charles R. Farnsely, a former mayor of Louisville, KY. The brand was first bottled around the distillery's 100th anniversary, with the intention of producing and distributing it in small batches, exclusively in the Southern states.

Following the sale of Stitzel-Weller and subsequently many of its associated brands in 1972, Rebel Yell was eventually purchased by what is now Luxco in the early 1980s, who continue to produce it today using sourced whiskey from Heaven Hill. This is one of the later examples of this packaging prior to the rebranding in 2017 (including the removal of the confederate flag from the label) and would have been produced at the old Heaven Hill distillery in Bardstown.

Ardbeg Blasda

This tamed version of Ardbeg was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm. Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above.

Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Arran 20 Year Old The Explorers Series Volume 1 / Brodick Bay

This is the first release in Arran Distillery's The Explorers Series, which replaces the now-discontinued Smugglers' Series which celebrated the island's illicit whisky history. This new range instead celebrates the island's natural charms.

Their first expression is titled 'Brodick Bay', with the label depicting the picturesque bay on Arran's east coast.

Matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry hogsheads, Brodick Bay is then finished in ex-Oloroso sherry butts.

Bidding advice

You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.

Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum.
